We visited this hotel as a couple in our late 20s, in April 2022. Our first time abroad since the pandemic, so we were looking forward to it. The hotel was very clean. The cleaners were super friendly and always said hello. The pool area was so quiet, we had it to ourselves often. The decor was fairly modern, standard for a budget hotel. A big supermarket just a few minutes walk away, through a park area at the bottom of the road. The beach was a ten minute walk (although it is up hill coming back). Perfect location for the bus stop to visit Palma. On this basis, it was a great budget hotel for a break away. However, the noise was almost unbearable. El Arenal is a popular party location, with large bars/clubs aimed at German tourists. Which of course, means lots of drunk people. There was absolutely no sound proofing in the hotel room. You could hear every word in the surrounding rooms. You could also hear the loud noise made by the lift, which was in constant use around the clock. One afternoon there was a fight in the room next door, and it sounded like they threw furniture at the walls! I only had between 3 and 5 hours sleep a night, due to loud/drunk people leaving, arriving and just hanging out in the corridors and in their rooms at all sorts of hours. I've stayed in lots of budget hotels in Europe, and hostels but never experienced noise like this. I saw the reviews but assumed it would be fine, but it really is as noisy as everyone says. The first night, I was scrolling through hotel websites at 3am to try and find somewhere else to stay as it was too loud to sleep, although due to cost we decided to just put up with it. This hotel is probably perfect if you want to stay somewhere low cost and want to party/stay up late every night or are a very deep sleeper! It was clean, had semi comfortable beds and pillows, and an okay shower. However, I personally wouldn't recommend it if you want a relaxing holiday now that restrictions have been dropped.
