Great breakfast buffet. Clean room. Friendly reception.

The room was similar to the photos on the website. I booked a sea-view room with a balcony, which I really loved. The view from the room was beautiful. There was parking available in front of the hotel, and since I went during the off-season, parking was quite easy. It would probably be difficult to find a parking spot during peak season. My booking included breakfast and dinner. Dinner started at 7:30 PM, which is about the same time in Spain and Portugal. I usually eat dinner at 6:00 PM, so it took some getting used to. Breakfast started at 8:00 AM. During my stay, they offered a Western-style buffet. The hot breakfast food wasn't very hot, but there was a microwave in the restaurant to heat it up. The staff were very friendly, which greatly enhanced my stay. There are only two elevators, so you might have to wait a while during peak hours. The photos show both breakfast and dinner, for reference for those planning to stay here. There were also some meals I didn't photograph, but I personally thought they were very good.

The rooms were clean, and the air conditioning worked which made our stay ok, although you couldn’t swing a cat in the shower! Unfortunately, there were several aspects of the holiday that let the hotel down. Even for a 3-star hotel, I think it's reasonable to expect the food to be edible. Sadly, the food quality was below average and we struggled to find anything to eat. Everything was under cooked! The all-inclusive drinks system was also confusing and inconvenient. You had to pay a deposit for a plastic cup which you had to keep your entire stay. At the end of the stay, the manager was reluctant to return our cup deposit because we didn't have the receipt. It left a poor final impression. It was evident the manager was trying to be difficult which leads me on to the main reason I give this hotel a 1 star. The biggest disappointment for me was that I didn't feel particularly welcome as a British guest. This wasn't just within the hotel but also in the local area. I experienced unfriendly and unhelpful attitudes from some of the pool bar staff, and I frequently noticed looks of disapproval from locals around the pool. It’s obvious this area is for locals and they do not approve of British guests visiting. Overall, although the rooms themselves were ok, the poor food, frustrating all inclusive system, and not feeling welcome mean this is not a hotel or an area that I would choose or recommend for any British travelers!

Beware of bugs! There were bugs in the rooms, not only in the room itself but also on the towels we were using. In addition, the buffet had no labels indicating what each dish was or whether it contained any allergens. In my opinion, this should be mandatory. As a result, someone with allergies like me ended up suffering a serious reaction and spent a horrible night with stomach issues. This is unacceptable and something I intend to pursue through legal channels, as people with severe allergies could even die from an anaphylactic shock. For a hotel of this category, it leaves a lot to be desired. And be careful with the dinner as well. It felt more like a basic lunch service than a proper dinner. There were only stews, pasta, and rice available. The only vegetable option was a dish of cauliflower. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

Arrived at the hotel, the staff were very helpful and friendly, couldn't fault any of them. Location, was good for us, 7 minute walk to a fantastic beach. However the hotel had so many added extra's, Pool towels 3 euro's then a euro a day for each day you had it. Early access to your room 20 euro's Hotel tax .. expected. Iron 2.50 euro's a day. Plastic cups for around the pool had to be paid for. No Tea or coffee facilities in the room, no access to hot drinks from 11.30pm-8am. No fridge in the room, so nowhere to keep any cold drinks or snacks. Room temperature drinks not an option. We would of marked the hotel much higher, if Tea and coffee facilities and a fridge had of been provided. Breakfast, most mornings was a waiting game, dirty tables everywhere, not being cleared, so families, where unstandably irritated due to the wait. Most of the time, there were no cups or glasses. Indoor bar only opens 8pm-11.30 pm. Would have liked to have sat inside with a hot or cold drink even a snack, during the day, just to get out of the sun for a while. We had to leave the hotel for this. Access to pool was from 10am, a few mornings it was 10.15-10.30am To many babies in the large pool, so could not really relax, I understand it's a family hotel, there is a children's area, with a lots of excess space, maybe extend that area and do not allow under 12's in the larger pool. Would make more sense. Hotel room was spotless couldn't really fault it. Sadly we won't return, the little things can make or break a holiday. This wasn't a cheap hotel, our expectations were not met.

We had a wonderful time, the service was fantastic, highly recommended, we'll definitely be back. We've seen a huge improvement from last year to this year! Unbeatable price and quality! Close to the beach and services! The buffet restaurant is very varied and exquisite!
