"Definitely not a 5-star hotel. The building is showing its age and is in desperate need of renovation. The staff, however, were very friendly and helpful. During our stay in El Calafate, we went on two wonderful excursions with Amayco that were absolutely fantastic. We can therefore wholeheartedly recommend El Calafate as a destination."

"Great hostel that’s near to the bus terminal and all the tours booked will be able to pick one up from the hostel. About 10-15mins away by foot from the main town, there’s a laundry shop right at the corner within the same block that does your laundry. The four bed bunk is big enough to fit everyone. Good starting point for going to the glacier."

"Overall, the experience is still very good, only 1. There is a section of road away from the town, which is uphill. It will be a little hard to walk back to the hotel. 2. The facilities are a bit old, and mottled marks can be seen, including damaged bathtubs and mottled wooden furniture. If it can be repaired, the experience will be better. advantage 1. The location is relatively high, and the view from the lobby is great 2. The staff is super friendly 3. Although there are not many breakfast options, it is a satisfying meal"

"I stayed here to visit Moreno Glacier. While it's a bit far from the city center, it's not too far and within walking distance. It's also within walking distance from the terminal. The view is amazing, it's clean, and the breakfast is excellent. I'd definitely stay again."

"I highly recommend Don Pepe, its close to the main avenue, has convenient store near by and its in very safe area. The room is great, clean and bad is very comfortable, the grounds are quiet for a very nice sleep after day filled of activities. They offer breakfast and its perfect and tasty, the coffee is great too. The stuff working there is simply amazing and very helpful and nice. I highly recommend this place for your visit to El Calafate."
