The hotel facilities are very clean. We had requested a room with one bed but in fact there were two double beds. They have a fridge with free detail (orange kas, water and Pepsi). In the bathroom there is a hairdryer, shampoo, gel and body cream, as well as a toothbrush with mini-paste and a comb. The free buffet is a bit scarce, long queues for freshly made food and warm desserts instead of cold. In addition, they are waiting all the time to remove your dishes, which can be annoying. The children's entertainers are charming. The hours of the room are fair, the afternoon hours should be extended.

We are staying in this hotel at the moment. The hotel staff seem very nice and helpful, one of the staff helped us speak to one of our booking providers to change an excursion we had booked as they didnt speak english. As for the people who are also staying here, it is a very spanish/french based hotel, not very many english and all entertainment is in Spanish as-well. Goes on from 9:30 tilll 11:30 ish every night playing the same songs over and over and over and over again. The walls are very thin and can hear all of the neighbours conversations and also got woke up 3x to neighbours baby crying. The air con in the rooms makes a horrible banging sound every 20:30 mins lasting for around 5 seconds each time which goes on all through the night. We asked for a pool view room on first or 2nd floor and hotel gave us that and were very accommodating. Breakfast is not the best very watered down beans and sausages dont taste of meat. Rooms are very modern and cleaned daily by nice maids. The spanish can be very rude and look down on you as your a minority of the hotel but didnt let it affect us being here. Pool for the kids is beautiful. Not very big but is a good thing as you can see them playing where ever they are. I personally dont think i would return but we have enjoyed our stay so far, just need to fix the dodgy aircon and thin walls

An honest review from a family of 5, including 3 children. I requested 2 rooms on the ground floor, next to each other with a pool view and this is exactly what we got. Rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh towels and had good air con. One day our daughters teddy was accidentally taken in the bedding and the cleaner had kindly left this at reception. There are also complimentary drinks in the fridge for your arrival. The pools are amazing, the larger pool is warm and both are very well maintained daily. The slides are just brilliant for kids and bigger kids too (adults) :) There was always 2/3 lifeguards on duty and they were quick to assist when our daughter cut her elbow. At 1230 each day there is a very good energetic aqua aerobics which everyone gets involved with. The sunbeds were all perfect and there is no mad rush as the pool opens at 10, I queued out of choice around 0935 and no problem. Food is plentiful and there are themed dinners each night and the staff work very hard in the restaurant. We never had to wait for a table as went around opening time and a large bottle of water is only €2.40 so we had this every lunch/dinner as full board. Breakfast has coffee and juices included. The evening entertainment starts with a kids disco at 2130 lasting 30 mins and yes it’s in spanish but your in Spain. The team work very hard and it’s very enjoyable. The beach and promenade of shops are a 5 min walk away. All in all a fantastic holiday and didn’t want to leave. Remember this is a 3 star hotel if you want 4/5 then pay for it, but this exceeds a 3 star in my opinion.

Pool & slides are perfect for kids! Modern hotel and clean. We loved the kids entertainment at night (all in Spanish but we liked that!). Great location right next to the Beach with some nice shops/ restaurants on the seafront. Easy access to Salou/ Tarragona etc. The only let down was the food - we avoided the all inclusive option due to previous reviews and they were right - we tried the breakfast once and it was chaotic. Really busy, messy tables, dirty plates, undercooked meat, dry pastries. It’s a shame because if the food was better this hotel would be top tier. When we have kids with us it was inconvenient to have to leave the hotel every time we needed to eat, especially early morning.

After the bad reveiws we were worried about our trip but what a wonderful surprise we all had . On arrival we were welcomed by reception staff and got our cards to our room which was on the pool side on level 5 . The rooms were lovely spacious and clean with the cleaners coming in every day to clean and replace towels. Foods was lovely plenty of choice for everyone especially as one our children is has autism so is really fussy. We were all inclusive so we had unlimited drinks and food . Only thing I would recommend is for the hotel to have a list of all the cocktails which are included on the all inclusive . Other than that I cant fault the staff as they are all helpful and friendly. The pool was clean and lovely and the kids loved the slides the pool is looked after and was alway a sun lounger available as the pool opens at 10 am so no getting up early to lay towels on the loungers The hotel is rated 3 star but would say definitely a 4 star we are a family 5 ( 3 teenage boys) they all loved it . For those who doubt or are not sure about choosing this hotel, for those who find problems even in 7 star hotel in Dubai, you can search further!! And for the rest, without any unrealistic requests, this will be the best option. The location of this hotel is brilliant, it's very close to the beach and has a lovely promenade with a variety of shops. After the renovation, this hotel looks nice and fresh. Everything is clean and spotless. Straight on the arrival (family of 2 adults and 2 kids), we had late check-in, and we've been greeted by a lovely guy on the reception. After all the paperwork was done, we were offered dinner at a restaurant, and that was already 10pm. We had a half board option (Breakfast and Dinner). Some people mentioned that there were not many options in the menu, but I can say that you have to be completely blind if you don't see that there is a pretty decent variety of food, especially at the dinner time. This is a family orientated hotel, so please expect some delays in the restaurant, especially at the high season. And this is not a hotel fault. It's an absolutely natural thing. The pool side was great. Our little fella was absolutely happy by using water slides and swimming in a main pool. There were a big number of sunbeds. Staff are great, very nice and helpful. Guy name Victor was walking around and asking people, is it everything OK? I think that management really cares about their customers and do everything they can. Overall, we're very satisfied with our stay in this lovely hotel and would be considering to come back in the future.

This is the worst Hotel I have ever stayed in .Every Night the main dish is PORK.They must use every part of the pig as Monday night they had a Pig Feet Stew .The amount of food left behind wouldfeeda third world Country Nothing for kids only pizza and fishingers Bollenese every day .Restaurant staff look as if they wish they where somewhere else Don't ruin your hard earned Cash .

Perfect for families. Excellent food. A lot of space around the pool.pool open at 10 breakfast service till 10.30 so you can get nice sleep by morning.Only one minus that is a que on restaurant for pancake's or frying eggs. The all was perfect Also if you are all inclusive you can buy drinks etc from a bar 70% cheeper. The beach quite close to the hotel with lovely sand.

The hotel is clean and pool area and bar and always kept tidy. Food and restaurant is clean but is very repetitive but there plenty of restaurants down by the beach, restaurant is on second floor and lift to access it is very temperamental so there’s a lift in the car park we had found to get to the restaurant as we had accessibility issues with stairs. The pool area is good but the water is very cold. Bar staff are decent younger ones being more friendly than the older ones especially when asking for anything from the all inclusive menu. Rooms are clean and very modern and comfortable, TV don’t have English channels or French or German. The kids entertainment was very poor at night a mini disco which was a man with a Bluetooth speaker and a stage. There is a games room which has pool table air hockey and grabber games, all require money. Hotel is average but for the price is decent.

We came here with our 2 year old the hotel is in an ideal location only minutes away from the beach and restaurants the la pineda area is lovely and quiet for families but still a lot of options of shops and restaurants. The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh bedding and towels, the bar staff could be a bit abrupt and the water of the pool was freezing to the point where my daughters lips turned purple after being in for 10 minutes, the pool area doesnt get much sun until arol 2-3pm so we spent most of our days on the beach as it was a sun trap from the morning and the water was a lot warmer than the pool. For the price you cant go wrong with this hotel the only down fall is the pool area being shaded and cold.

Arrived back from our first family holiday abroad with our 2 year old daughter on Sunday and I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. My advice is ignore the Karen's in other reviews having a moan! For the price of this hotel and being 3 star it is brilliant. We went all inclusive and found the food nice, different choices every night as well as your typical all inclusive standard foods. Isn't all inclusive all pretty much the same wherever you go? For a three star we found the food better here than in the four star we stayed in last year in Tenerife. Plenty of cocktails included in the all inclusive, beer on tap that you could just go up and get yourself and a lovely ice cream menu which our 2 year old loved. The entertainment is all in Spanish but La Pineda is much more Spanish based so I don't know why this is such a shock to so many in other reviews - You are in Spain!! The kids entertainment was brill didn't get the name of the young lad who was hosting but all the kids adored him and it didn't matter one bit it being in Spanish, songs were catchy and everyone got up and had a dance. After that there were dancers, tribute acts on throughout the week couldn't fault it. We got a lovely pool view, room was very clean and rest of hotel very modern. No rush for sunbeds as pool area doesn't open until 10. La Pineda ***** itself is very nice, we ate out a couple of nights to break it up and were impressed by the irish bar down the road. For a young family this hotel was absolutely ideal, I couldn't have picked anywhere better to stay for our first trip. Only downside to our holiday was the weather as it did rain for 3 days out of our 7 night trip but that can't be helped. I would stay here again and can't fault anything in terms of hotel one bit.

Had the best time at this hotel. Family of 2 adults 12yr & 5yr old. The fact the pool/slide area isn't massive is actually a plus as you can always see the kids. The kids loved the slides. Rooms were clean when we arrived & cleaned daily. Beds comfy too. I know people like to moan but we were impressed with the food choices. being 1st in was much better. Entertainment was hit & miss & all in Spanish but it didn't really matter. Beach is gorgeous & a few minutes walk. Flying to Reus was a 20 min trans, much easier.

I was a bit worried about this hotel due to the reviews in June. However I was pleasantly surprised and I can honestly say I really enjoyed my time at this hotel in fact I wished I stayed for longer. The selection of food was great so much food I didn’t even make lunch time as I still full up from breakfast. The staff at this hotel are lovely I cannot say one was rude or not helpful. The rooms were clean and it’s overall a clean hotel. I would definitely return!

After reading the reviews I was dreading going here, Location perfect- 2-3 mins walk from the beach and shops, Waterpark in walking distance, Pool- great for kids but flipping freezing. Entertainment is very loud in Spanish til 11pm (way later on the weekend) Food- wasn’t as bad as we expected, plenty breakfast choice and all fresh everyday. Evening meal- wasn’t raw like a lot have said- just a bit repetitive by the end of the week. Queue on the stairs was daft for a table, and the lift broke Rooms nice and big just lacked a bit of a decent clean, floors cleaned most days and beds made. Considering how bad some previous reviews were we had a pleasant time- staff weren’t rude at all like some had experienced, could do with catering a bit more to English kids but the chap who does the water aerobics was a hit with mine ☺️ For what you pay you can’t complain
