This Hotel is up a very steep bank. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. But the hotel has not been designed to help the tourist. There is no lift, but generally this is the norm in Sri Lanka. But the rooms don't have the switches next to the bed, the plugs for appliances are not within reach of a mirror. Rooms are poorly furnished. Bathrooms are very dimly lit.

Staffs are very rude. They said they gonna help with the luggages then they left a bag on the whole way. And they demanded to pay 8000 rupees in cash to stay. We paid because we were tired and didn’t wanna go and look for an another hotel

The best experience provided by the hosts. We felt always so welcome and warm that any small detail loses its importance. It's not a fancy hotel but the rooms were big and clean, the breakfast was prepared with so much love and all the food was really good. The juices.. Amazing. The location was perfect in the city center. The small details: we need to climb a big hill to arrive to the rooms... Not to every car. The doors have some open space where the mosquitos can easely enter and the music from the main street also gets in the room until late in the night.. But, 5 stars experience for sure. Thank you very much.

The hotel is well located, aldought there is a stiff slope to go in. The owner very nice and available. The room was quite big. But tere were some flaws. Difficult to control the water temperature on the shower, small bed and always lots of bees on the stairs

It might not look like much, but we had a good time staying. Close to the main street but up a hill so the parties didn't bother. Room was clean and the bed was good. What made the stay a joy in particular was the great breakfast and the absolute friendliness and kindness of the owners. Definitely recommended.

Most hotels in Ella are geared towards the backpacker or located out of town. This is a very good choice for anyone looking for a middle ground. Location wise you are in the heart of the the town. Bang in the middle of the main road. Walking distance to most attractions and with restaurants and bars on your doorstep. There is also a convenience store nearby. Having said this, as there is a long driveway and the hotel is slightly perched on a hilltop, rooms are very peaceful. Staff are pleasant. Rooms are big but very basic. Somewhat dull but this appears to be the same in many hotels in Sri Lanka. Reasonably clean. Wifi was awful. Go to reception if you need wifi as it is somewhat faster there. The area on the whole does not have good wifi. I didn't eat at the hotel. I would recommend this if you are looking for something clean and basic with a prime location.
