We visited this hotel at the beginning of May. Please do not be fooled by the website details and photos on the jet2 website. If you expect luxury don't go. This hotel is more like a poor 3 star. We paid over £5000.00 for a week all inclusive in the cool living section with a wrap around private dip pool. Which looked stunning on the photos however in reality the pool was filthy and cold. See photos. I would like to point out it wasn't just a bit of dirt it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for months and the balcony was filthy. Reported this and it was cleaned 3 days later but pool steps left mouldy and green. The room was basic. No coffee milk ie working TV and room fan on arrival. With dust everywhere. Bed was hard and sheets felt like cardboad. No tiles around tge bath just painted walls stained wit watermarks. The food at this hotel was appauling despite the fact that jet2 said they reviewed the food logs by the hotel and it stated good. We never saw one person testing the heat of the food or quality whilst we was there. Food was cold limited choice. One evening the only deserts on display was a pice of what looked like iced sponge cake. Mouldy fruit on the fruit section see photos. We observed numerous complaints from guests as the reception doubles up as a bar. Guests can sit in the bar area or reception on scruffy tables covered in ring marks. Available drinks where poor quality. Staff were pleasant, the views were amazing. You have to cross a busy road to get to the beach which is small but OK for us as the hotel wasn't full but must become crowded at peak times. Make sure you check the sunloungers before sitting on the somecof them are filthy. It may be an idea to take some sterile wipes if you do go. We complained to management who offered us a 2 day stay for free. I am sorry to say I wouldn't want an hour free. So glad to be home.

The staff at Domes Aulus Elounda were exceptional. Everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was spacious, clean, and had an amazing view of the ocean. The view was breathtaking - we could see the entire bay and the small island of Spinalonga from our balcony. The resort itself was beautiful, with multiple pools, a private beach, and several restaurants. We would definitely recommend this resort

The check-in process was smooth and efficient, setting the tone for a relaxing stay. The resort provides convenient transportation with electric buggies, making it easy to move around the beautiful property. What an amazing hôtel!!! The professionality and very fast reactivity to whatever i needed(i was very surprised). The rooms where good with a lovely seaview, the bed is very confortable, the food is of high Quality and variety and truly delicious. And i just loved the system to take the clients up to their room or pick them up with the golfcaddy that is just genius it gives the Hotel a special touch in my opinion. But more than finding an amazing hôtel....i found an far more amazing staff, from Sissy and Eva in the réception,Kristina from the main restaurant,Sylwia from the spa who does amazing relaxing massages. Kristina,Greg and Mary from the greek levante,Vassiliki and Yiannis the managers,Nikos from the beach who does the best cocktails and Elefterios,George and Manos the drivers. Very friendly, permanently smiling and full of humanity and i loved it. Those are the people who made my stay so enjoyable without them it would have been a vacation like another so thank you guys, thanks a lot. Those are the people who are making everything more enjoyable at Domes Aulūs than it already is. My only advice for the big boss of domes Aulūs is the following: keep those people at any cost because those people are the main reason why your hôtel is so special. Voilà that's it,again thank you all of you for everything i already miss you guys BUT next year same time i'll be back for sure and for the end i'll leave you with a simple but deep.....YAMASSSSSS! ✌️✌️✌️

From the moment you arrive, you are greeted by the resort's warm and welcoming staff. Every interaction is marked by their genuine hospitality and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. They are truly passionate about making your vacation unforgettable. The resort’s most striking feature is undoubtedly its breathtaking views. The hotel is perched on a cliffside, offering panoramic vistas of the sea and the surrounding islands

If I’m going to be truthful. Our general impression of our week long stay at this hotel was like going back in time to when we were young adults going on budget holiday. It wasn’t a 5 star experience and to be honest we have left the hotel feeling very deflated and disappointed after the holiday we have just had . The holiday regrettably got off to a poor start as soon as we arrived at the hotel. I could make my review too long so I am going to try and condense so I just give the facts . Day one. Really slow check in and no greeting drink. Offered a room with a view of the next door neighbours air conditioning units. This is when the hotel had only 60% occupancy we were told. We were offered a better room but would not have been unless we complained! Photo of 1st and second room. Went to the restaurant to find all the food had gone and what was left was poor quality and cold. Three disappointments in one afternoon! We soon got to find out that our first day was a good guide to the next six days of our holiday . The part of the hotel which we were staying in wasn’t ‘cool living’. It was far from it . I’m not sure we found any thing that was cool over our stay. The food choice and restaurant choices were terrible with the buffet restaurant being the worst we have ever come across in the 35 years we have been travelling. The food choice was repetitive, limited and poor quality with the best food running out and not replenished. The unpopular dishes sat there all night in small pots getting cold and not being eaten. Luke warm and unappetising. There was a lack of staff and leadership in the restaurant and as such just a complete disaster with tables not being cleared and reset. 2-3 star at best. Photos attached to give an idea of the choice. The choice of places to eat were limited. It was either the buffet restaurant or there were two other options. A snack bar that turned into a sushi bar in the evening also and a pizza/gyros area serving food from a van - more like street food than a la carte. You could only book these once a week if you were lucky enough to get in. The food was better quality in these as it was the only freshly cooked food we had all week but I’m not sure how you can call either of these options a la carte restaurants! The choice in both was fairly limited and the service very slow. The only bar in the evening was understaffed and also lacked atmosphere. It was just off the main reception and felt like sitting in a hotel lobby. Not a great place to relax and enjoy a drink. There are not enough staff, it often got really busy. There was only one bar person behind the bar and one waitress serving the entire main bar and sushi restaurant. It was almost impossible to get a drink at times but I have to say they were both great at their job but were often losing a fighting battle. The main pool area was very run down with a jacuzzi pool which was broken. They both had been painted black with some type of tan

I want to start by saying the staff at the hotel are lovely. Really hard working, friendly and helpful. However this place is managed so very badly, and the general impression is not 5 stars, but cut costs wherever possible! Making a complaint was however pointless (we witnessed multiple customers complaining, but management didn’t really seem to care). Firstly , there are not enough staff for the amount of customers. One person behind the bar, with another taking drinks to guests is not enough when they have to serve one of the restaurants, the main hotel bar and the main pool area! This was helped somewhat by there being a self service soft drinks fridge - which you’d often opt for as you felt guilty putting more pressure on the staff. Likewise we didn't order the cocktails because of this. The food was terrible… Cold and tasteless. The choice in the buffet restaurant was very limited…. Also the same most days. The bookable ‘restaurants’ were no better. I wished I’d taken pictures but I didn’t want to shame the staff who were trying their best. Flies were all over the bread and pastries - this could have been resolved by either covering with napkins or cloches. The little vans are classed a restaurant ‘experience’… there were only 2 staff serving, so a lot of waiting (we abandoned desert after waiting for 25 mins to clear our plates). I think the main thing for me though was how dirty the hotel was. It was filthy. Walking round our ‘suite’ was akin to a day down the pit for the soles of our feet (see picture). Never saw anyone cleaning the pool areas etc. We did have a lovely holiday (we started eating out) but feel really mislead by Jet 2 - pictures and stars are really misleading. Also don’t pay for the ‘cool living’ experience as everyone was uplifting to this. To top it off, the tourist tax is based on the number of stars the hotel has… so we had to pay a further 70 Euros for a 5 star trip, which should have been 21 Euros for what is a more realistic 3 stars. Disappointed.

Firstly I’m astonished at the number of 4 and 5 star reviews for this property; simply astounding. This is NOTHING like a 5 star hotel or experience and I’m astonished HILTON puts its name to it! We arrived after a 3 hour minibus transfer after midnight and were greeted by very friendly front desk staff. We completed the formalities and were taken to our room in 300 block in an electric buggy; thank goodness as the rooms are literally on the side of a mountain. We had missed the buffet (at the time we did not realise that that was a good thing) and were were told they’d left a sandwich in the room fridge. A nice touch - I’m gluten free so didn’t eat it but appreciated the thought. A 5 star hotel would have checked dietary requirements though snd my partner was vegetarian do did not appreciate the ham on every slice. The room was very small but had a lovely sea view we discovered in the morning. We woke in the morning to discover we had slept in an oven as the air conditioning had not worked to cool the room. I asked at reception to have an engineer look at it. 3 hours later nothing had happened snd the room was unbearably hot. Asked two more times and asked to speak to the Manager who I see answers all the feedback in here but does not think it is his job to speak to his guests. He’s clearly too important for that! Definitely not a HILTON experience. After 9 HOURS and three complaints we eventually got moved to a similar type room but with a less good view. The bathroom in this one was tiny and you had to stand sideways in the shower. I’m not sure who designed it or who they thought would be using it but as a slim male with a 32 waist having to stand sideways I cannot imagine what most guests did to get washed. As many people have observed, the food in the buffet restaurant was of a poor quality and you constantly had to ask for items to be replenished. Again not a 5 STAR experience. It was also lukewarm. We got the opportunity to book 2 a la carte experiences. We cancelled one of them in the Yellow Sea restaurant which is effectively a veranda off the main bar which is a walk through, after reading the menu. We did go to y to he Amphitheatre which is a roof too space with nice views but this was NOT an B a la carte experience. Firstly, no GF options, and secondly all you could have was pizza and stuffed outta bread. Effectively street food! I couldn’t quite believe it. The pizza was good ( not that it would be difficult) and the pitta things were well, very poor indeed. I was completely deflated. The whole experience was an expensive week away and I thought with if being HILTON and 5 star it would be great. What an utter disappointment. Never, ever again. Given the number of previous poor reviews and all the learning management has apparently been listening too and responding too I do have to wonder what improvements have been made. The food it seems is as bad as ever, the lovely staff are as charming as ever, the broken su
