Stayed for 5 nights and it was amazing, I could have easily stayed longer! We booked a private transfer after hearing the TUI bus could take up to 3 hrs. The private transfer took 1hr5 minutes. On arrival we were blown away by how beautiful the area was and the views. We quickly checked in and then driven up to our room at the top of the hill in block7. We had upgraded to the cool living section and enjoyed the pool, views, service and food. The staff were attentive and so friendly. We ate breakfast, lunch here every day and enjoyed the meat hub (ate here twice for dinner during our stay). We also enjoyed the Amphiteátro for dinner, the food was delicious and service attentive. I can highly recommend the mixed grill. We stayed to celebrate my 40th birthday and was surprised with a wonderful cake. In fact I can say that this hotel had the nicest cakes, desserts and ice cream that I have come across. So much so I ate too many of them! We had lunch one day at Mezze. I didn’t realised when I booked that this was more fine dining. You choose from a set menu (there was only 3 available to choose from when we went. Personally it wasn’t to my taste, the sea bass turned out to be ceviche sea bass and the octopus tenticle was too big for me. (Suckers were massive). Though all the food was presented beautifully and the services was excellent. The hotel is well situated, Elounda is only a 20 minute walk away which we did on a couple of occasions. We took at taxi to plaka to get the boat to Spinaglona. It was lovely to visit the island after looking at it every day from the hotel room balcony. This hotel is situated on a very steep hill, however there is a mini bus shuttle or a car on request that takes you up and down. We did walk from the top to reception a number of times, walking down is fine. We even walked up once right to the top but there is no need to. In summary this hotel is def worth visiting and we really enjoyed our stay. We would 100 per cent return for another visit.

We recently had our first child free trip away together here and wow it did not disappoint. We had booked the cosy sapphire suite with private pool but were kindly upgraded to the Sapphire Zen suite and honestly the view was just breathtaking. We had access to the cool living areas which included a separate pool and restaurant which really made the holiday feel luxurious! The food in all restaurants was amazing with great drink selections too. We did the sunrise yoga class one morning by the sea which was bliss. We left feeling restored & connected which was exactly what we wanted. Thank you to all the staff for making us feel so special- I really can’t fault the place

What a stunning resort set above above a bay with magnificent views. We couldn’t have asked for more attentive care from the staff. The buffet restaurant is complimented by several pop up restaurants which provide some fun variety. We found found all of the food and drinks served premium quality, with a Greek culinary edge. The resort is close to the town of Elounda where it is possible to found a range of restaurants and trips to Spinalonga and other places of interest.

I was delayed in writing my review for a few months, but as we are ready to persist with booking our vacation, I remembered how wonderfully we spent our time at this hotel. After experiencing initial room issues, which were promptly addressed by the attentive manager George, our stay at this hotel turned from disappointing to delightful. Despite the initial setbacks, Mr. George swiftly relocated us to a superior room with added perks, such as access to the exclusive restaurant and a stunning view. The staff's hospitality, especially George's vigilant care, ensured our comfort throughout. The culinary offerings were commendable, and the spa facilities added to the relaxation. A heartfelt gesture upon departure from George left a lasting impression, transforming our experience from a rocky start to an unforgettable memory. Highly recommend this establishment for their exemplary service and dedication to guest satisfaction.

The staff were wonderful. Food lukewarm - didn’t put in weight (!) puddings synthetic, main meal not tasty, altogether not enjoyable food. But worst thing by far was the constant music which I kept asking to be turned down. They very politely did so and then 15 mins later it was turned up again. Also on beach so I’d dint go to beach. A tinny awful system on beach playing garage music; horrendous. These days people have their own music to listen to so why the constant music? Spoilt the holiday. Nice view. But would never go again. Also do you really want ot have to take a buggy each time you go to breakfast? Luckily we had a great room and didn’t have to use this service.

We spent a week here mid October and I couldn’t speak more highly of the hotel. The staff and the facilities. I was 7 months pregnant at the time and the staff in the restaurants couldn’t of been more helpful and suggested certain food to stay away from or offered to cook some food slightly differently for me so I could still have it! All the food in each restaurant was delicious and to a very high standard. The mocktails were lovely too! The staff were so friendly and welcoming no matter where we were in the hotel. This, I think, always makes a massive difference to your experience at a hotel and definitely made me feel more comfortable. It was my birthday whilst staying at the hotel and my husband had contacted the hotel in advance to arrange balloons and a cake for me in our room. He had also asked if it would be possible to upgrade our room part way through our stay. Manager George couldn’t have been more accommodating and kind and arranged for us to upgrade to a suite half way through our stay and his colleague Maria helped my husband arrange the balloons and cake in the room. Nothing was too much trouble for them and we couldn’t have appreciated them more. I even had a 2nd cake presented to me at dinner that night which was sweet. I visited the spa on my birthday as my husband had booked me in for a pregnancy massage and Katie was amazing! As a therapist myself I know a good therapist when I have one and she couldn’t have been more professional and helped me relax and unwind with a fabulous massage and facial treatment. Even when I had a moment of feeling unwell at the start of my treatment due to dizziness, Katie was so supportive and looked after me and put me at ease which meant I could finish my treatment and relax in the end. We spent time at the private beach everyday and we loved it, calm seas and comfy sun beds with clean toilets and food and drink facilities at hand. Everything you needed was there. As the hotel is on very steep land. Buggies and a shuttle were available all day to help you up and down the hill and you never had to wait long. Local towns weren’t far away either to visit. Plaka was a lovely little town with souvenir shops and beautiful restaurants with fresh seafood and friendly people. Right on the water with great views of Spinalonga island. A taxi would be needed to get there but you could easily walk into Elounda, another seafront town with plenty of supermarkets, pharmacies and shops to visit. I would definitely recommend staying here and we would definitely stay again!

Had a fabulous week here. Can’t fault anything. All the staff were really friendly. The food was good & plenty of choice. The view is just stunning. Loved our room with a private shared pool but also loved going to the beach where there was a bar & also well stocked fridges with cans & food to just help yourself. Hotel is on a hill but just ask & you’ll get a lift to & from your room. We would definitely love to return.

ANASTASIA ❤️ and PANO ❤️ worked like Trojan’s delivering drink and food around the pool. Absolutely 5 stars to them. Rooms very clean, towels changed every day if you wish. Food was lovely in the main Island restaurant, the staff also worked very hard. We booked a meal in Meze restaurant for lunch. The food was ok. Had a choice of four menus, Manos the waiter said “this one would be best for you”?!? How would he know without knowing me! Anyway I chose a different one and enjoyed it. We didn’t feel very welcome in the restaurant?!? The bar staff in the blu bar work extremely hard making and delivering drinks and cocktails. The receptionists and concierge are very helpful and pleasant. Maria the manager is excellent and will help with everything 👍 nothing is too much trouble. Overall a very lovely holiday.
