Service and food very good. Average room, no aircons and definitely needs upgrading.

Bathroom very dirty and completely unacceptable.

Unpleasant staying because of noise at night made sleeping impossible. Ideal location though, quite an old structure and facilities.

Rooms are a little dated but overall are acceptable. Cleanliness is pretty good. Beds comfortable. Good facilities and a great bar/restaurant onsite. Downside is the creeky floorboards and single glazed windows.

The receptionist is very friendly and helpful, the ground floor of hotel is the pub, so no need to go outside at night.

The team at the Lamb went above and beyond: we had booked a dog-free room due to allergies and were shown to a room that had been deep cleaned by housekeeping to make extra sure that it would be as allergen free as possible. However, that room was on the ground floor,  and upon request we were able to switch to a first-floor room, the last free room available that night. It was just as clean, and we had a very comfortable stay. Many thanks to the Lamb team for being so flexible and accommodating.

Nice little hotel in the heart of Ely and within spitting distance of the cathedral and high Street. Restaurant downstairs served good food and the room was warm and beds comfortable. Bathroom was in bed of refurbishment, needed an engineering degree to figure out the shower

The soundproof floor makes it feel like the guests walking back and forth upstairs are creaking and it feels like the floor is about to collapse. It’s not an exaggeration at all. If the guests are walking back and forth upstairs and don’t sleep, you will never be able to rest. I’ve really stayed there so many times. In the hotel, I didn’t find that there was such a loud noise from the floor, and it even felt very dangerous. I suggest you work harder. If you don’t have an elevator to carry your luggage to the third floor, don’t stay on the second floor. It’s okay to check the room during the day, but As long as the guests upstairs walk back and forth at night, the noise you feel is unimaginable. It makes you want to go crazy in pain. After staying up until one o'clock, you can't tell the staff on the first floor, and you don't know what she said to the customers upstairs. I didn’t mention it. When I went down to look for it, the door locks were all locked. The staff saw me pushing the door back and forth and helped me coordinate. After I went back to the room, it was just as noisy as before. It was really painful. The feeling that the floor is about to fall is no exaggeration!
