Jin Ding Hotel (Yuexia Building)

The location is excellent, close to Jinding, making it convenient to watch the sunrise and sunset. The front desk service is great, and the breakfast offers a good variety. We also received a complimentary fruit and snack platter in the room, and the toiletries were quite unique.

Staying at the summit of Mount Emei, I chose to lodge on the mountain to avoid the hassle of commuting. The hotel is very close to the Golden Summit observation deck, making it easy to catch the sunrise early in the morning. Understanding the difficulty of transporting supplies to the mountain top, the hotel still maintained excellent hygiene standards. The front desk staff thoughtfully explained the key points for staying at high altitudes, which was very considerate. The room was dry and warm, ensuring a good night's rest. If you want to leisurely enjoy the sea of clouds and the Buddha's aura, staying here is the best option.

The room was generally clean, but I suspect there were dust mites as I immediately got a stuffy nose upon entering. I hope they pay attention to dust mite control. The service was good, and the location was very convenient, with a KFC and a bubble tea shop right across the street. We even saw the sunrise illuminating Gongga Mountain in the morning and a fiery sunset in the evening, so it was definitely worth it.

The room faced the sunset directly, and I enjoyed a beautiful sunset view right from my bed. The hotel is also very close to the Golden Summit, and the breakfast offers a good variety of choices. Overall, it's great! Make sure to book a sea-of-clouds view room.

The shower drain in the room was clogged, making it impossible to shower. Water leaked into the bedroom, leaving the room damp. There were also items left behind by the previous guest. The duvet cover and blanket both had oil stains.

We were upgraded to a room with a view, and we could watch the sunset directly. I thought the rooms would be small, like the hotels on Huangshan, but to my surprise, it was very spacious! The facilities are a bit old, but you can tell the cleaning staff are meticulous in their upkeep. The hotel service was excellent and very attentive. Most importantly, the location is superb, making it easy to get to Jinding. On this trip, we saw both the sunset and sunrise, plus the starry sky—it was perfect!

The hotel is very close to Jinding, about a 10-15 minute walk away. It's an older hotel, so the facilities are just okay, but for being on top of the mountain, it's pretty good.

Right across from the hotel, there's a KFC, several bubble tea shops, and restaurants, so meals are not a concern. I must also mention that the hotel's buffet breakfast is incredibly diverse, offering plenty of options for vegetarian pilgrims.
