A beautiful property in a spectacular location on the Mosel river surrounded by vineyards. The hotel staff is really helpful and exceptionally friendly: from Uwe who checked us in, to Christian the barman, to Sergio the competent headwaiter who knows all about wine, to Neeza and Frederike who took care of us the next morning, everybody was a true delight to deal with. The quality of the food and wine is outstanding and also good value for money. The spa was really great with a nice pool and various sauna options. We stayed here one night for a stopover and can't wait to come back for a longer stay, there are quite a few things to do in this lovely part of Germany. We hope to be back soon.

We only stayed for one night after a long 11 hour flight into Franfurt Main. Our flight the next day was from Hahn at 06:25 and we just needed a good sleep. This hotel was perfect, just a few.mijutes from the airport, decent sized room, really comfortable beds, good linen, a TV with SKY satellite channels and a nice bathroom. Food in the restaurant looked amazing but we were too tired and too late to eat anything.

What a lovely surprise our stay at Hotel Carl Muller turned out to be! Initially picked for its central location (10 minute walk from the train station), and breakfast buffet (well worth it!), we were pleasantly surprised by the comfortable beds, lovely staff, and how truly abundant, fresh, and wonderful the breakfasts turned out to be. Definitely recommend, would stay again, and look forward to trying the sauna next time!

Charming Cochem property and staff. The breakfast was awesome...eggs made to order with a great spread. The location is great during peak travel season since it's quieter than the riverside hotels, etc., which can get noisy. There is parking available, within a short distance from the Villa. We used a TomTom GPS, and it found a way through the narrow one-lane streets, and parking was nearby after dropping luggage. The owners are nice, helpful, and accommodating. We had a pleasant stay, and we enjoyed a local Mosel wine from the kitchen when we returned to our room. Don't let the narrow streets scare you...you'll get there...just take it slow and watch the pedestrians. The rooms could use a fan during the summer, especially the upper rooms with only one side of windows, thus no cross-ventilation, such as the Moseltal (spelling?) room. Moseltal is nearly unbearable sleeping without a fan during summer. Even the lower rooms could use one when it's warm outside.
