Lake Victoria Granada Hotel

Staff are very helpful. They went out of their way to help me with a package and I greatly appreciated it. Breakfast was good and the property is well located and in a beautiful area too. Nice pool.

Excellent hotel with a wonderful location in Entebbe. The setting is beautiful, with lovely views and a relaxing atmosphere — a perfect place to unwind. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable, and everything was well maintained. Service was outstanding; the staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. The facilities were top-notch and exceeded my expectations. A great choice whether stopping over near the airport or staying longer. Highly recommended, and I would gladly stay here again.

What I liked: - the room was comfortable and clean - breakfast on the terrace - the garden with the pool - for me a good place to write - food in the restaurant was good with one exception - friendly and helpful staff - that the hotel offers job to trainees Room for improvement - WiFi became very slow and unresponsive in the evening - the traditional chicken stew. Quality of meet was not good - the ladies sitting in the garden and offering services such as massages and services I don't want to explicitly mention, but you know what I am taking about

What I liked: - the room was comfortable and clean - breakfast on the terrace - the garden smith the pool - for me a good place to write and read - food in the restaurant with one exception - friendly a helpful staff - the hotels supports trainees to get first practical experience Room for improvement: - WiFi became very slow and unresponsive in the evening - the traditional chicken stew was not good. the meet was just bones and skins - the laddies sitting in the garden and offering services like massage and ohters I don't want to explicitly mention, but you can imagine what I'm talking about - the laundry is much to expensive. this is a rip off. in Kenya I paid for more items 20% of the price I paid here.

Rooms and furniture are old Service terrible: only one towel for two guests. I asked for the towel and it took forever to bring it. Bed in terrible shape, not at all for a good night sleep. Curtains are awful The screen is very small and old Not a good experience at all

Stayed 6 nights; denied short room use after checkout. Care more for departing guests, would enhance their experience

We had our FAO conference at lake Victoria granada hotel and we really succeeded as every thing went as planned and the staff were really at their top notch,excellent hospitable services were offered and the meals were really continental fitting all our origins,a big thanks to chef in charge.

A year ago, this was a great hotel. Maybe the management changed or something. Now it is not the great place it used to be. Very often and for a long time, the electricity is turned off, so the air conditioning in the room will not work and it will be very stuffy and hot. You can go to the bathroom and you will not have water or there will be very little pressure, you will not be able to wash yourself normally. This is a good hotel, but if they want people to stay there, they need to change a lot, and not focus on the military, who can tolerate a lot. Also, during the day, you can't bring your friends or acquaintances to your room, at the reception they will demand $ 30 from you, citing security. This is not even at night, but during the day. A semblance of a miniature prison. Probably the only hotel in the whole world. Only they know how $ 30 affects security. Food for thought for everyone.

Due to a flight cancellation, I was obliged to spend one more night in Entebbe. My airline offered me a room in the Lake Victoria Hotel which I was happy to take. My room was perfectly okay and provided everything I needed, including a good working air-conditioning. The hotel is quite large, so depending on the room you get, it could be quite a walk. The staff is very willing to help whenever called upon and is quick to react to any additional requests. The restaurant offered a fairly extensive menu and the food was very good. Being at the end of my trip – and to be fair a little done with local cuisine – I did stick to the traditional western style courses. All in all, I have no complaints about the Lake Victoria Hotel and wouldn’t mind staying there again during an Entebbe layover.
