Beautiful beachside resort with a stunning coral reef and loads of fish just out from the beach. Amazing staff and tasty food with extensive menu and vegan options. Facilities are amazing: kayaks, SUPs and snorkels you can borrow, pool, gym and shop, plus you can book for the staff to take you on a boat tour spotting dugongs or to another reef. The team here are truly amazing and really go above and beyond to ensure you have the best holiday

We stayed at Eratap Beach Resort in Villa 12 and honestly couldn’t fault a thing. The villa was incredibly private, spotless, and really well appointed. The bed was super comfortable and the outdoor area was just beautiful, perfect for switching off and relaxing. The food at the restaurant was excellent every time. Always fresh, high quality, and really well prepared. We actually found the prices very reasonable for what you get (not expensive at all like some reviews suggest). And the cocktails were great! The mango and coconut one is a must try. The pool area was relaxing with poolside service available, and all the staff were warm and welcoming. A special mention to Pascal, who was incredibly helpful and made everything so easy to organise. We also had the chance to meet the owner, Tony, who was very informative and genuinely a really nice guy. The spa experience was a highlight, we got the relaxation massage which was so good it put my partner to sleep and the lovely spa ladies were very welcoming and found my partners snoring amusing as I did, it was a good laugh. Snorkelling right out the front of the resort was fantastic—we even saw a turtle one day! We also did a trip out to the little castaway island for a BBQ lunch, which was such a great experience. Snorkelling there was amazing. Lots of kayaks, paddle boards, surfboards and bikes to borrow whenever you want, no need to forward plan. Getting around was effortless with the boats and drivers, everything is so well organised and can be done on a whim. I would recommend bringing some reef shoes for any walking and swimming along the beach. Eratap is doing everything right. We had such a relaxing, memorable stay and are already looking forward to coming back!

We have just spent 6 gorgeous days at Eratap Resort and cannot emphasise enough how perfect this resort is. This was our 4th visit and it just gets better every time. From the moment we arrived Pascalle and all the staff greeted us like old friends and it felt like we were coming home. The resort is picture perfect - right on the crystal blue water. The resort is small (only 14 villas) and feels very intimate. The rooms are gorgeous- huge bathrooms, such comfortable beds and a spacious lounge room. We stayed in Honeymoon Villa 11 which has a private pool and gorgeous private cabana right on the water. The food is EXCELLENT! Every meal is fresh, delicious and very generous portions. There are free activities everyday (highly recommend the HIT cardio session - so fun!) and plenty of free water sports to try. You can literally do as much or as little as you’d like. The staff are fabulous - so helpful and friendly. It’s hard to thank them all but big thanks to Robert, Maki, Joseph, Melanie, Natasha and Jenny. And of course Annie and Julia in the Spa - the massages and facials were divine! We have stayed at several resorts in Vanuatu but Eratap is the BEST by far. We are already planning our next visit. If you are looking for a perfect tropical holiday don’t delay booking Eratap - it is Paradise on earth. Highly highly recommended.

There’s nothing to worry about if you stay at Eratap Beach Resort! Just returned from a week as a family of 5 including 3 young adults and had the most amazing experience, staying in the 3br villa. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the resort grounds like a tropical paradise with a beautiful pool, and the food in the restaurant is absolutely delicious. Big thank you to Robert for driving us to and from the resort and Melanie and all the wonderful restaurant team who were so friendly and remembered our repeat orders even with special requests! We loved being able to do as much or as little as we wanted each day and felt lucky to visit the village nearby and be so warmly welcomed. Thanks to everyone we met at Eratap for looking after us so well, we are most grateful for your hospitality. Couldn’t recommend highly enough and we will absolutely be back!

2/2 AMAZING experience. Amazing staff, Amazing services, super friendly and helpful. Always willing to have a good laugh. I have boasted about Eratap to all my friends and families, and pushing them to come and visit the resort one day. All worth the money in my opinion.

We visited Eratap for around a week in August and fell in love with Vanuatu. So many highlights but a top few include the wonderful staff, the delicious food, and being able to call for a boat at any moment to go snorkeling - truly, it felt like having your own private resort! We did plenty of kayaking searching for dugongs as well and were lucky to spot them twice. Cocktails in coconuts were delicious! The snorkeling right off the beach when the tide was right was stunning. Also, the resort activities were a true highlight - from the kava tasting on Sunday to the fire dancers and a walk to the nearby town, we loved it all. Eratap truly has a special place in our hearts.

We have just returned from Having 5 wonderful days at Eratap Resort with our two granddaughters. We loved every minute we were there. A lot of time was spent in the amazing pool,the girls went out snorkelling and kayaking. Our 2 bedroom accommodation was just right for us. Cant speak highly enough about meals,all absolutely delicious and the staff are so friendle and attentive. Eratap was on top of my bucket list and didnt disappoint at all. Already talking about returning next year. Thanks everyone for making our 5 days so special.

Our family of 4 (husband, myself and 2 teenagers -13yrs &15yrs) spent a week (27/10-2/11) at Eratap Beach Resort. We had the most wonderful time! The resort is absolutely lovely. We cannot fault a thing about it. We stayed in Villa 1 - a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom villa with living area. Perfect for a family with 2 teenagers. It was probably the most public villa of all in the resort as it is right near the reception and restaurant - but we still had plenty of privacy due to expansive gardens and high fences. The only sound we heard from the restaurant area was a little muffled chatter and music at times. Never anything intrusive. The villa opens out straight onto the beach and the beautiful waters of the pacific ocean... and straight into wonderful snorkelling areas. The snorkelling even drew the kids away from screens! Our villa was the one closest to the best spot for a quick swim in the ocean too. Other guests and some staff do walk along the beach, but again it did not impinge upon our privacy. The villa itself was clean, airy and very comfortable. We did use aircon a bit because we are sooky about humidity, especially when sleeping. The aircon worked a charm though. We all loved the outdoor shower. So lovely to shower and look up at the blue sky and tropical flowers and foliage. Fresh flowers in the room were gorgeous too. The staff at Eratap are delightful and dedicated. So warm, welcoming and friendly. they looked after us all beautifully. The hungry teens were blessed with extra baguette at dinner once the staff realised they 'needed' it. I'm sure I will forget some names I am sorry ... however, thank you to Chelsea, Pascalle, Maki, Melanie, Odile, Helen, Sharon, Mack, Max, Robert, Wallace, Joseph.... and everyone else. It is a testament to you all and Eratap Beach Resort how many guests there were repeat visitors. We were impressed by how many of the local community that EBR seems to employ. A big positive. The Fire Show was a spectacle and we loved dancing on the beach too! The kids loved the pool and we all spent time in there, just relaxing and chatting with one another and a little with other guests. Because EBR is 'small' - 14 villas in total - there is a sense of intimacy, and it feels personal and very friendly. The food was not cheap, but comparative to other places where tourists would generally eat. Having said that - the food was delicious and amply portioned! It was always fresh and thoughtfully presented. We tried to work our way through the whole enticing menu :D Drinks are priced similarly to Aus, possibly even a little cheaper. It's also worth noting that a very tasty breakfast is included and certainly filled us up each morning! Make sure to make use of the resorts watercraft - we kayaked, SUPed and took the boat to Castaway Island for more snorkelling and exploring a couple of times. There is so much to do at EBR that you could just stay there and not venture out. However, whilst at Eratap we made day trips to Vanuatu

My wife and I have just returned home from our 5th holiday at the Eratap Beach Resort in Vanuatu. Yet again we had a really wonderful time. We cannot speak more highly of the resort and all of the wonderful staff. If you want a very friendly, relaxing and enjoyable experience this resort is a must do! Special thanks to the chef, kitchen staff and waiters who provided some really delicious meals that respect some very tasty and diverse ingredients. We hope to return in 2026!

Staff accommodation food amenities all top shelf its private the location is perfect the meals are another level and the staff most of them have been there a very long time and really made you feel special so hats off to Tony what ever he does there is perfect don’t change it can’t recommend it high enough.

Eratap Resort totally lived up to our high expectations and we are sorry we couldn't have stay longer. We spent a week in Villa 1 and despite we were not lucky with the weather, we had plenty of time to taste all the activities resort has to offer and did a couple of half day excursions (Blue Lagoon/Eden on the river and Ekasup Cultural Village). We relaxed under the hut in front of our villa or by the pool, we went snorkeling on the reef in front of restaurant and at Castaway Island, we used kayak and SUP on the beautiful lagoon, played tennis and bowls, used gym open 24/7. Resort offers free daily activities like bush walks or snorkeling excursions or visit to the nearby village but we didn't join it. Food is good and you can take advantage of free service by the pool or in your room. Last but not least all members at Eratap were so kind and helpfull from the owners to the housekeeping ladies to the waiters at restaurant. Breakfast by the sea looking at the dugong swimming and the night fire show were a must. It was hard to leave and we hope to come back soon: we miss you Eratap!

Beautiful setting with beaches surrounding and first class friendly service. We said beforehand at Nanuku in Fiji but this was better. The free use of staff driven boats to take you to pristine islands with fantastic corals was an amazing experience. In our case it was need as for 2 out of 3 days the main beach was closed due to strong winds and currents. The food is good but not spectacular but given this is in Vanuatu it was good enough. The drive along a very pot holed "road" makes it a tricky journey

A stunning place to stay. Only a small number of rooms so everything feels exclusive. The team that work here are all engaging, smiley and welcoming. So much to see, explore and do. Or just swim, snorkel, have cocktails, read and relax. It’s just sensational. Love it

The locals of Eratap and Eratap Beach Resort will stay with you for all the right reasons. It’s our third time at this resort and it’s always special. We always have a list of things to do (both in the resort and out) and we’re lucky to tick off half the list because we just “go with the flow” island vibe. The resort itself is fantastic, everything is taken care of as guests (food, accommodation, resort facilities). Resort activities cater for all water activities and I utilised them all (kayak, stand up paddling, surfing, snorkelling & open water swimming). The complimentary in-house morning and afternoon activities (preparing local dish, visiting Eratap village, playing soccer with the locals which I highly recommend and so so much more). I like to run, swim and ride whenever I travel and this resort provides complimentary bikes. I was able to run/ride 6km on an out and back course and was always warmly welcomed by the Ni-Vanuatu people. If you’re after an authentic experience with genuine people you cannot go past Eratap Beach Resort. It is worth the investment. Don’t worry about the pot holes around Vanuatu as they allow most drivers to drive to the conditions. Don’t try to cram as much into your day as you can as the island life is to be enjoyed at a relaxed pace. This resort can organise drivers if you want to go somewhere. Nothing is a problem. Each person you interact with that works at this resort you will get to know well by name. They are like family. Thank you Tony, Louisa, Pascalle for everything.
