I had booked here a single room of the simplest category for travel. I checked in something before the actual check-in time. The reception staff was friendly. When I opened the room door, the positive surprise was that I had received a older, but clean, generous two-bed room with large bathroom for single use. Only the modern television was complicated to use myself as ”digital native”. Breakfast buffet was excellent. This was particularly positive for the commitment of the breakfast server.

It was a bit different from the image at the time of booking (probably a different type of room) but a great room enough. There was a refrigerator and the table was large enough to stay in the room and it was convenient to work. One unfortunate thing is that the bed was a good queen size or the quilt was a super single size, so it didn't cover the whole bed. But everything else is satisfactory. Simple food and drinks are sold in the hostel and Aldi is 5 minutes away.

We had a fabulous stay at this hotel! The room was very clean, had all the amenities we needed for our 4 night stay, the little kitchen was so useful! We easily rented bikes and enjoyed using them for little adventures around Erlangen and Nuremburg. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming and the virtual check in and out made the whole process super easy, even after hours. It’s is located right in the heart of the city and we enjoyed many delicious meals and drinks, just a short walk from the hotel Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is new, close to the railway station and in walkable distance to downtown Erlangen. It provides the standard experience of any recent addition to the Holiday Inn Express chain (good & bad). Cleanliness could be improved. Not sure, if it was a start-up problem, but my bathroom was not cleaned between opened door and wall. That spot is often missed, but in this case there was still dust from construction. Overall value was great with breakfast included, a great rate due to advanced booking and everything nearby. I would stay again.

Leider kann ich an dieser Übernachtungsmöglichkeit nicht viel positives finden. Zum einen ist der Eingangsbereich relativ schmutzig, trotz trockenem Wetter. Die Zimmer sind leider nicht so groß wie auf Booking beschrieben. Dort habe ich ein Zimmer mit 25qm gebucht und das Zimmer, welches ich bekommen habe hat 3mx3m und auch wenn ich die Miniküche hinzurechne komme ich nie auf 25qm, was für die Comfortzimmer in der Beschreibung ausgewiesen wird. Als ich dann angerufen habe, war eine nette Dame, die sagte, es gibt in der Kategorie nur diese Zimmergrösse. Leider lies die Sauberkeit dann auch eher zu Wünschen übrig, auf dem Boden der Miniküche lagen noch die Krümel vom Vorgänger, an der Wand und auf dem Boden des Bades waren noch Zahnpastareste und in der Duschzelle lag noch der Rest einer Duschgelverpackung vom Vorgänger. Leider habe ich dann erst am Abend vor der Abreise festgestellt, dass das elektrische Rollo vom Balkonfenster auch nicht ging. Alles in allem eine unschöne Erfahrung, die keiner Wiederholung bedarf.

Wonderful hotel with some minor issues. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Breakfast is quite decent. It’s a little annoying to decorate a room with a blinding neon sign on the wall and the need to constantly re-login to the Internet several times a day. Some distance from the city center is only a plus - on weekends it is very quiet there. Very close there are grocery stores, DM, Burger King, another burger place and a pizzeria.

Incredibly beautiful and quiet hotel in Erlangen. The castle room is the absolute paradise for children and the roof terrace is a real highlight! The room and bath were really clean without a snack! The staff is very premature, friendly and always and everywhere accessible. The breakfast buffet was really recommendable. Fresh bread, great bread and a always beautiful and freshly filled out of sauce and cheese. Marmelades, honey, juices and various yoghurts were also offered. Coffee, tea and cocoa were perfectly and quickly provided by the staff at the table. The hygiene concept that is visible to the guest has really convinced us! We will come back anyway! When I opened the room door, the positive surprise was that I had received a older, but clean, generous two-bed room with large bathroom for single use. The staff is very premature, friendly and always and everywhere accessible. The breakfast buffet was really recommendable. Fresh bread, great bread and a always beautiful and freshly filled out of sauce and cheese. Marmelades, honey, juices and various yoghurts were also offered. Coffee, tea and cocoa were perfectly and quickly provided by the staff at the table. The hygiene concept that is visible to the guest has really convinced us! We will come back anyway! Wonderful hotel with some minor issues. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Breakfast is quite decent. It’s a little annoying to decorate a room with a blinding neon sign on the wall and the need to constantly re-login to the Internet several times a day. Some distance from the city center is only a plus - on weekends it is very quiet there. Very close there are grocery stores, DM, Burger King, another burger place and a pizzeria.
