Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Escondido Downtown

I loved how clean the room was, the staff was very friendly and provided me with whatever I needed

Cool but staff isn't very good. Don't understand what your saying

Unfriendly staff and only Cash deposit! Couple in front checking in had to go get some and was made to feel silly they didn’t know!

There are roaches at this hotel. It is unfortunate as I typically enjoyed staying here it’s a tucked away mellow area. I’ve had to kill a total of 5 roaches during my stay with my 1 year old and 2 year old. I do not recommend this hotel any longer

Room and bathroom had a bad musty smell. The TV remote was missing batteries. Front desk was very nonchalant. We will not be staying here again.

Pleasantly surprised. The outdoor area was pretty and well kept, decorated with tropical plants. The pool was clean. The room was clean. Only complaint was that there appeared to be a cigarette burn hole in the sheet and the fleece blanket had some kind of stains. 2 out of 3 times we tried to shower in the morning the water was luke warm. Overall better than we expected ! We usually stay in Oceanside where there is a lot of homeless issues there. This was a lot nicer and felt safer.

Clean rooms, cold AC, plenty free parking, helpful, friendly staff. Plenty of shops, and restaurants varieties, close to the freeway.

The lady at front desk her name was bharati she helped us check in and explained everything and the pool there was clean normally go once or every other month and stay down street what was nasty so glad found one close cuz we go to rest and dk what went out there we will be returning also had to go grab come in they were very nice to one the maids

The property also has a homeless shelter on property. So property was crawling with people. There was a roach that came into our room on the second floor we ask if there was a bug issues she answered with im not the manager and manager is not on property. They were not helpful at all. So we left.
