Had a lovely two night stay at The Parsonage Hotel.  Certain areas of the hotel could do with a ‘lick of paint’.  The food at the Fat Abbot was really good.   The pool an added bonus.  Bus stop outside to York centre.

Enjoyed every minute of are 2night break , easy to find and park excellent service , good food and lovely sauna break . A wonderful stay thank you .

The actual room is seriously different from the photos. The room is clean and has no odor, but the room and bathroom in the picture are not what they actually look like. If I knew this would happen, I would not have booked it.

This is an old castle hotel with beautiful interiors, a sense of history, gardens in the yard, and sika deer and rabbits. The restaurant meal was well done!
