I have been staying at this hotel a couple of times on business trips and I was impressed by the perfect business organisation, well-equiped and designed rooms and the quality of the restaurant both for breakfast as well as dinner. Next time, I will make time to test the sauna. Very recommended for short or long-term stay. Very helpful front desk staff!

This is a solid choice if you are in the area. The hotel isn't cutting edge and your rooms will feel dated with few amenities but there isn't anything "wrong" with any part of the hotel. Everyone has their own preferences, admittedly. Personally, I found the bed to be uncomfortable and when I woke up in the morning I felt like I wasn't well-rested. I know that it is common in German bathrooms to have a tiny partition on the shower that barely blocks water from the shower head. I think this is an effort to improve sanitation and accessibility; in this case, it went overboard and it was almost impossible to keep water in the shower without spraying all over the bathroom. I suppose a very short person wouldn't have an issue but it was problematic for me. The breakfast but basic but it was also inexpensive (7.50 Euro per adult) and I was pleased by the huge servings of coffee and the very good bacon (hard to find in Europe at most places, good bacon). Generally speaking, this is a Good hotel. Not likely to win any big awards for being at the cutting edge but I think that's probably how most of their customers like it. I wouldn't have a problem staying here again.

Vi sov över en natt under resan hem. Vi bastade och duschade kallt i hotellets spa vilken var jätteskönt. Hotellrummet var fräscht och frukosten var god.

Sauber aber 1970 stehen geblieben, in den Zimmern Odenwalddecken Scharm von Jugendherberge, die Bäder sind dunkel und sehr klein, Duschbecken 30cm hoch. Das Essen ist höchstens Mittelklasse, alles in allem für eine Nacht zu einem sehr hohen Preis, geht, aber in Kassel 10km entfernt gibt es um Welten bessere Hotels zu gleichen Preisen bei wesentlich besserem Standart

In den 80ern stehen geblieben…..! Dusche defekt, Waschbecken läuft nicht ab, Blick in engen Innenhof, sparsames Frühstück. Aber ohne Mitbewerber das einzige Hotel…… Vergleicht man das Preis-Leistung mit einem MotelOne, dann fragt man sich wie MO das schafft…!

Die Unterkunft kommt mit dem Charme eines Altenheims daher. Gut ist die große Parkplatzfläche vor dem Hotel, die Küche konnte während meines Aufenthaltes die Preise nicht rechtfertigen. Sauna konnte ich nicht ausprobieren. In Summe ein sauberes aber arg i die Jahre gekommenes Hotel...

Ich kenne das Lokal bereits; es war ein Tipp meiner Eltern. Mit etwas Verspätung kommt von uns eine kleine Rezension: wir haben dieses Mal unser Essen bestellt und abgeholt, aber ich weiß von meinen vergangenen Besuchen, dass wir uns immer sehr wohl gefühlt haben und der Service professionell und zuvorkommend war. Was auch für das Abholen der Speisen gilt. Ich hatte einen vegetarischen Burger, und mal abgesehen davon, dass die Portion mehr als großzügig war: sämtliche Zutaten waren frisch und ausgezeichnet vorbreitet, und das Brot etwas ganz besonderes. Der Burger war auch sehr schön präsentiert, ganz wie wir es auch vom Waldhotel Schäferberg gewohnt sind. Die Avocadocreme und das hausgemachte Ketchup sowie die Majonaise waren die Tüpfelchen auf dem i. Schön, dass wir uns immer auf die hervorragende Qualität verlassen können - eins ist sicher: wir kommen immer gern wieder!

Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich. Das Abendessen auf der Gartenterrasse war klasse und die kleine Gartenanlage hat ein anheimelndes Ambiente.

Fine store rom. Vi var 3 familier som hadde kjørt fra Kiel i 3 biler. Deilig etter en lang kjøretur å kunne sitte og spise ute på terassen. Veldig glad for at vi valgte dette hotellet og ikke et inne i Kassel sentrum. Følte bilene stod trygt. Lett å finne frem til hotellet. God frokost.
