View from my room. Near to Aldy and tram. No kettle provided in the room . No tea , no mug , nothing . Difficult to register as you need translater to fill up the form .
Not working lift, so I need to carry my heavy bag up to level 2. I take a break a while but was scolded not to stay there.

a 8 minute tram ride from essen center hbf. Then a minute walk to the hotel. Check in is lengthy, took like 5 minutes but the room/building is very clean and comfortable. Supermarket is right next to it so getting drinks and food is convenient.

Great location and price for a good one night stay. Would be better if there were clearer signage and some touch ups to the decoration of the location to make it more welcoming and less "cold".

Ideal for a stay where you don't need much. Simple, clean and quiet environment. Only because there is no reception, there is no control over who walks in and out. The front door is always open.
