We had the perfect suite for a family of four, large double bedroom, second bedroom with double bed sofa and a two part bathroom with shower and separate bath. For the adults the breakfast was fine but for the children it was missing the basics. We didn’t try the restaurant in the evening but it looked very popular and was busy most nights we were there. The location was fantastic and parking was easy, right outside in the market square, also free. Would highly recommend a visit.

This was the be of my favorite properties on a multi-city trip. This hotel is so unique. It's quiet, updated, impeccably clean. The beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. Wish we stayed longer it was so nice!

Very cute hotel in a very charming plaza. The room was cozy and comfortable. The hotel restaurant is very good with amazing food and service. The hotel staff is amazing, paramount and super nice and ready to help you when you need it and I needed it.

Ich hatte mit einer Freundin am frühen Abend das Restaurant besucht und hatte sofort einen positiven Eindruck, da die Atmosphäre sehr nett und angenehm war. Wir wurden ausgezeichnet beraten und bedient. Die Lage des Hotels befindet sich im südlichen Stadtteil von Essen auf der als erste Gartenstadt bekannten Margarethenhöhe. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert! Alles in allem hat der Besuch solch einen positiven Eindruck hinterlassen, dass wir gerne wiederkommen werden.

Alles fantastisch, auch das Restaurant. Das Zimmer war toll, wir hatten alles da. Der Service war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wie schon gesagt, das Essen war auch super. Und der Ort selbst, ein sehr einzigartiger Stadtteil von Essen, war auch wunderbar.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, angenehmes Hotel! Die Zimmer waren beide hübsch, mit kleinen besonders netten Details - wie z.B. einem gute Nacht-Gruß an der Zimmerdecke, die Balkons mit Blick auf den Markt sehr angenehm, auch hübsch möbliert. Fabelhaft fanden wir, dass wir wählen konnten, ob wir täglichen Zimmerservice wünschten oder eher keinen. Wir haben uns für die Tage, die wir im Haus verbrachten, sehr wohlgefühlt! Zumal das Haus außer am Markttag, sehr ruhig liegt.
