Amazing sandy beach, super comfy beds, some minor things occurred, like bad WiFi signal or speed, limited options in hotel restaurant, but those are so minor, we had a side ocean view from our room. AC working perfectly. We saw iguanas right next to our building 🥰. Also thanks to Dasha she gave us valuable advices and made our stay even better, other stuff were amazing and very friendly as well.

Tranquility and comfort. Sensational location. Small and boutique staff. Delightful staff. Perfect! Felt like a private villa more than a hotel. Rooms very well appointed and the ocean is absolutly amazing.

A stressful stay! I have to chase the staff for the most basic of things: toiletries, coffe machine and our room was late. I came for a relaxing weekend and ended stressed. So in short my experience was not what I expected from a hotel that charges $315 per night

Nice place but the service wasn’t good. They need more employees to assure a good service. Even if people are nice, and tried to help us, is not enough. Breakfast wasn’t good either. There are not many options

The hotel grounds are quite nice with equally amazing sunsets. I originally booked and paid for a beach front villa, but due to A/C malfunction we got a garden view suite- we were reimbursed for the cost difference. The garden view suite was very nice and well equipped. Unfortunately the hotel decided to do some maintenance work early Saturday and Sunday....7:30 am to be exact on both days. Impossible to sleep in as workers were scrapping and hammering the external walls of our suite prepping for paint. Then the maid decided to enter our room without knocking - not even once she knocked, and was quite embarrassing as both my wife and I were completely naked heading for the shower. This hotel, albeit great facilities, needs to improve on customer attention and greater focus on small details that could easily make this place amazing . We had dinner at the hotel on our first night, I feel that the quality vs price ratio can be much improved. We decided to have dinner and lunch outside the hotel during the rest of our stay. I also feel that simple non-monetary improvements can be made, -simple things- which would definitely improve overall customer satisfaction, and more importantly, return visits.

Guess I am pissed if you hadn’t already figured out. They overcharged by several hundred dollars ..promised a refund by manager who was not on the premises. Refund never happened. I knew they were not an honest outfit. Staff were miserable. Rooms needed TLC. Avoid or don’t say you weren’t warned.

We booked into two room between 2 couples . 1st room . The water pressure was terrible and toilet started blocking up . They did not give us clean towels on the last night of our stay. Room 2 . We are arrived at 7.30 pm The room was dirty and beds were not made . The towels were dirty . We booked an Airport shuttle pick up on the day of arrival . The resort never showed up ! They claim we did not pay for it. We Reserved it through email and they never ask for deposit or payment . Food was good . Good scenery. It’s a quiet secluded place . The sand is very hot in the beach . I feel this resort should be more in top of cleanliness and housekeeping .

We came to sunset Del Mar to celebrate my moms 80th birthday. Carla, Estebana , and Yendry did a great job serving and making sure we had everything we needed. OMG… Isabel “the cook” created the perfect meals. She made a delish garlic shrimp for my mom that she loved. Ribs were so good. Jorge the manager made every accommodation possible. You would think he was the owner how he went out of his way. The facilities need TLC but the team made up for the imperfections.
