Amazing service and experience from start to finish!! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, we love this resort!!

I can't say enough great things about this property! First, I love the architecture and the gardens. It feels like a nod to historic San Diego with it's Spanish ranch style. The spa is serene and all of the services I've ever had have been wonderful. I love the spa aqua circuit, and people are really friendly. The pool is great, and I love that they have a few tables nestled into a garden are where you can enjoy your meal sitting, rather than on a day bed. The menu is great! The Pony Room was lively on a Tuesday night, and they even had live entertainment with a singer/musician singing some great and soul fueling classics. The rooms are a dream...each design element is worth taking in, and the fact that they had a whirlpool and steam room in our suite made me feel so luxurious. The suite was so spacious. I love coming here, and will be back regularly.

We look forward to returning to RV for its warmth, fun, deliciousness and mostly it's natural, beautiful setting / grounds.

Rancho Valencia is an unbelievable resort and spa. The personnel are some of the best in the profession with AJ Dagnese, Director of Front Office, standing out as an excellent example of what is needed at a resort of this caliber. The room was incredible with multiple fireplaces. The SPA is one of the best in the world. I recommend to anyone wanting to experience the best CA has to offer.

Thank you to Rancho Valencia! We felt celebrated and pampered during our stay. From our initial greeting by the valet and bell staff, lunch and dinner at the Pony Room, then to spa services and checkout- everyone was fantastic, warm, and friendly.

If you have kids DONT go here. Even with one they hate kids This hotel HATES KIDS. Don't bother going if u have kids. Awful have never been treated so badly w kids at any resort (have taken my kids to many 5 star hotels that have been wonderful, idk why they think they are too good for kids) Sadly we have stayed here many times and it's going downhill. The rooms are still very nice but the people who work here have just become terrible is so pretentious and it never used to be that way. Front desk staff at check in was rude and Dismissive because of my children being with me. Room was not ready which was fine although I called twice on the way to time it correctly as my kids were napping in car and they said to arrive by xx time. Woke them all up and it wasn’t ready. I was alone w 5 kids at check in w out a room and he didn't offer to let us in pool or give us any options (he left me high & dry didn't even say oh do you want to go have lunch?? Because he wanted us gone. This was the manage which is horrifying) can sadly say we will not be back and I will be letting my friends who have children know this is a hotel for old people not families. Lots of other luxury hotels to choose from in CA!

Pure luxury and relaxation. This is the place to go if you need to relax. The service is amazing! You never have to ask for anything twice. When we got here we asked for more Nesspresso pods and Ice. Every day we received a fresh bucket of ice and more Nesspresso pods. They have free snacks and drinks in the room that they replenish twice a day. The spa pool is amazing! The service there is great as well. They walk around and refill your water often. The loungers have cushions on them that make them so comfortable. I got a 90 min massage that was heaven. I did yoga in the yoga pavilion and it was so beautiful. I enjoyed every minute of my stay. The food here is amazing. We eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, never had a bad meal. The portions are huge so you can share. I truly enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend this place if what you need is a luxury, relaxation retreat. It was pure heaven. I hate to leave.

Excellent resort in a beautiful setting. Service is exceptional. Great dining in the Pony Room; Spa is top notch. Would stay again without a doubt!

I’ve stayed a couple of times at this hotel & it’s lovely. My favorite room is the one that has an outdoor private hot tube. The spa services are heaven & I love the adult (spa) pool. Very luxurious & their food is amazing. I love staying here & look forward to it every time.

We had a family vacation coming up, and had a VRBO home rented for the 10 of us. Then they SOLD the home and cancelled our reservation. Lucky me, I found out that Rancho Valencia Resort has several private homes that you can rent, and have all the amenities of the resort right there, but the privacy of a secluded estate home as well. The pool was huge and perfect for all day activities, and the huge grassy lawn was great for the dogs. Fabulous kitchen with all the cooking supplies we needed. Outdoor fireplace with a stack of logs and gas starter made it so charming at night!! Everyone had their own bedroom and bath, and plenty of room at a big dining table for meals and games. Truly gorgeous location!

My recent stay at Rancho Valencia Resort and Spa was nothing short of extraordinary. The resort offers a perfect blend of luxury, relaxation, and impeccable service. The resort's stunning facilities, from the pristine pool to the elegant dining areas, were maintained to the highest standards. Every moment spent here was a delight, and I left feeling completely refreshed and revitalized. We look forward to coming back!

Rancho Valencia is the perfect getaway. We truly felt very welcome and the room was beautiful and roomy and very clean and stocked very well with complimentary snacks and a wide assortment of drinks and Nespresso coffee and tea. The service was impeccable and the food in The Pony Room was very delicious! The spa was heaven and I had one of the best massages ever Can’t wait to return again!

Writing this review 2 hours after leaving RV after a fantastic 3 night stay (babymoon getaway): Overall: Rancho Valencia is easily in our top 3 vacations. Rooms, Spa, Staff, and Food are all top tier and worth the price to stay. We are already planning on when we’ll be back and maybe join the spa membership. Worth every dime to go here and we will be back as soon as possible! Rooms: Organized in pods of 2 around the resort with excellent spacing that provides the best feeling of privacy. We originally were set to stay in the Olive Grove suite and were kindly offered an option to upgrade when checking in. Worked out perfectly! Bell man had our luggage placed in our room once it was ready and were greeted with wine and some pregnancy items that my wife loved! RV is very meticulous down to the small details that really won us over. Rooms are extremely clean, comfortable, and really get you into the feeling you’re on vacation. Spa: Put it this way. I would join my wife every day just to hang out by the pool, enjoy a great lunch, and have a few drinks. Spa has a wide range of services for everyone. Deep Tissue massage did not disappoint! Shout out to the Rein crew (Morgan, Cheryne, and Ana!) who were incredible. Rancho Valencia Staff: Most professional and kind people we’ve met at a resort. From when we first arrived, daily meals in our room, turn down service, gardener, etc. It was the staff that took a good resort and made it great.
