We were in town for one night and the room was accessible, clean, and comfortable. Hotel staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient. The full breakfast was typical. We were quite satisfied and would stay here again.

This was a pleasant experience from the moment I checked in, until I checked out. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the bed linens and towels were exceptionally clean and had no odors. The paint and carpet were well maintained, and the air conditioner worked well and did not have an odor when running. The front desk staff were friendly, and the baked cookies offered upon check-in were a nice touch. I appreciated the local newspaper offered at the front desk. The breakfast offered had good options, and the area was kept clean and available as advertised. The property was well-maintained as well.

Small hotel in a small town, we were pleasantly surprised. Clean rooms, attentive staff, great breakfast. The breakfast area was even decorayed for autumn, a very homey touch.

The staff was always so nice and it was quiet the whole time we were there. The pool was a good size, only went to 4ft deep in the middle and 3ft on the ends. A lot of close parking and we could see our car from where we were which was a plus. Breakfast didn’t have many options.

We got a room for invalids witch we are not. And I didn’t complain because room was fine and I didn’t see a shower until later at night. By that time I didn’t want to pack my stuff and move ( I was on vacation, right?). We were spending only nights in a room and all we needed was bed and shower so we just pushed through. But the question remains: why did she put us in that room? Hotel wasn’t packed!

The hallway to our room smelled terrible. Our room had two queen beds and we wanted a king. The breakfast was good and the staff asked for our opinion on breakfast, which was encouraging.

This is a huge shout out to the manager Malinda at Edgewood and the staff. They are by far the best !!! My husband and I live in North Carolina but we travel to Fairbury about once a yr to visit family. For the past 3 yrs Malinda and her staff make our stay so inviting and welcome The rooms are clean the beds are comfortable the breakfast is delicious.and the cookies are a sweet surprise. Thank you all for all your hard work and your incredible hospitality
