The Craft House - Cutest little Cabin you ever did see!!!

Our family really enjoyed our stay. This is a hidden gem. The cabin is tucked into the property and we often felt like we were the only ones on the 350 acres. There was a women's retreat that took place in the lodge next to our cabin for 2 of the days we were there and we didn't even notice them. Yes, the lake is small, but it is picturesque and well stocked. We caught fish every day that we were there. It is strictly catch and release. There are hiking trails right out the front door. All of the trails were well maintained and clearly marked. It was so quiet and peaceful. Most cabins in the Hocking Hills area, you need to drive to the hiking trails or to fish, but this location offers it all at your doorstep. The cabin was clean, furnished well and offered firewood ready for our use. We cooked most of our meals in the cabin and the kitchen had most of what we needed. I would recommend bringing your own cutting board and a sharp chef's knife. We also brough our own crockpot for easy meals. We also brought our own folding chairs for lounging on the wrap around porch. Not pictured in the advertisement is a bed on the main floor and a couple of Adirondak chairs around the fire pit. Both of these we were grateful for. During our stay the property hosted their Firelight Friday event and our whole family really enjoyed all of the activities. The human foosball game was epic. The host and everyone involved with maintaining the property were friendly and helpful.

Nice cottage and location. Not rave-worthy but nice. Nice simple comfortable cottage with a slightly unappealing smell. Pretty sure the listing said there was a grill so we catered for that - no grill. Might explain the smell - everything has to be cooked indoors. Also thought a hot tub was advertised but maybe not. Comfortable beds.Good shower. Good wifi. Well equiped kitchen. Great fireplace and an outdoor firepit.

Quiet Cabin in the Woods My family and I stayed at The Craft House for a long weekend in October 2024 and explored the parks in Hocking Hills. We enjoyed the simple and quiet atmosphere of Geneva Hills. There were many other occupants at Geneva Hills at the time of our stay but it seemed like we were the only ones there. The grounds were well kept with many walking paths and scenery to enjoy while at Geneva Hills, and Hocking Hills State Park was a short 30-40 minute drive away. The Craft House was clean, well kept, and provided everything our family needed for a comfortable weekend in the woods. Check in and check out were simple with the help of our host. We enjoyed our time very much and will be visiting again in the future! Thank you!

Overpriced cabin Overpriced for what this was. The cabin was very dirty and smells like mold. Is in need of good cleaning and updating. No light above bathroom mirror, towels and whole place smells like mold. I would not recommend this cabin.

Relax Nice place to unplug and relax. Nice and quiet, peaceful. Took the wife, we enjoyed our stay.
