Holiday Inn Express AKRON NW - FAIRLAWN by IHG

The room was adequate, however, the floor was not swept well.. For some reason we find the sheet slips off the mattress . The has been and issue for several stays. Outside of those 2 issues , the stay was acceptable. We did not stay for breakfast either morning. O will take pics the next time.

new property, great location right at the freeway, service is good and ample parking with EV charging available.

I booked my stay through ******* (**********) and I paid at the property. No one was at the desk when I checked out so I dropped my key in the box. IHG hotels have always emailed my receipt - my email address is on file. They didn't send one - no big deal - but when I called the clerk told me that because I booked through a third party I would have to get my receipt from them. I explained that I paid the hotel and that they are to give me a receipt. I also explained that when I checked out there was no one at the desk so I dropped my key as the sign instructed. She told me on a Friday at 4:40 p.m. that I'd have to call back on Monday when a manager was on duty. If they don't have someone at the desk in the morning they should email the receipts..

Cleanest hotel I've stayed in without being so new!! Location was perfect for shopping, restaurants and more. Staff members were friendly and customer focused.
