The check-in system is super easy. The motel owner writes your name and room number on the board in front of the reception and the key is at the room's door. That's it! Very impressive. Nothing to complain about the room. I followed their recommendation for the restaurant for dinner and the food is fantastic.

This was the greatest room we had during our New-Zealand trip so far! We were welcomed by the sweetest person ever, the mom of the host. We loved the personal whiteboard with our names on. The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was the most comfortable we had in a loooong time! Thanks for this amazing stay!!

We were late to book an hotel in Tekapo so we chose here. It was a quite clean and confortable place for a good rest after long drive.

Great experience

Warm welcome by the owner. The room is great and you can't pick anything wrong. Fairlie is a small but great town. Easy to get to MT Dubson. A bakery in the town is famous and close at 4pm.

Great hotel

We stayed there for four nights in total. The only nearby attraction was Lake Tekapo. It takes four hours to drive to Mount Cook. So we didn't know where to go until the last few days. The room facilities are clean and the sleep is comfortable. But next time, two nights at most will be enough.

As soon as I got there, I saw my name and the corresponding room. The room was nice, half an hour's drive from Lake Tekapo, and I could observe the stars at night! Recommended

The accommodation is very comfortable, with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. The room is also large and comfortable. The environment is elegant and the scenery is pleasant. It exceeded expectations and is the most cost-effective accommodation.

The room is well equipped and large. There is a kitchen and convenient parking. The hotel is a typical motel. Because it is too expensive to stay in Lake Tekapo, it is about half an hour drive from Lake Tekapo. The pies in this town are really delicious.

The hotel equipment is extremely poor, the sheets and quilts are all a smell of sweat, the mattress' sofa is all down, the bathroom is very slippery, the socket is not many door locks play, wifi  does not know how to walk ' charges expensive service is extremely poor.

As a family room it is not bad, half an hour's drive from Tecapo Lake, the price is half the price, but you can't see the stars in the mountains.

It was almost the most unexpected surprise of my trip to New Zealand. It was my first time staying in a motel. It was surprisingly clean. It had two bedrooms, which was basically the standard of a homestay. Parking was very convenient at the door. Check-in and check-out were based on trust. I met the boss, who was a very nice person. I regretted not staying here for two more days. It was my favorite hotel on this trip. There is no scenery nearby, it is very life-like. It takes about half an hour to drive to the lake to soak in the hot springs. Overall, it is very cost-effective.

There is nothing wrong with the hotel itself, but for Tekapo and Mtcook trips, it is recommended to stay in Twizel.
