Jin Jiang Hotel Fangchenggang

I recently stayed at Jin Jiang Hotel and my experience was unfortunately quite disappointing. Upon check-in, the manager kindly mentioned that our room was upgraded, which I appreciated. The check-in process was smooth and the staff were polite. However, the air-conditioning in the room was not working well. We waited about 15 minutes for the room to cool down, even set the temperature to 16°C, but it still didn’t feel cold at all. We called reception, and a staff member came up saying they would get a technician to check. Instead of waiting and wasting time, we requested to change rooms immediately. We were then moved to another room on the opposite end, which had better and cooler air-conditioning. Although the second room was more comfortable temperature-wise, the condition of the bathroom was disappointing — the bath towel was almost torn, and even the hand towel looked very worn (I didn’t manage to take a photo). For a local 4-star hotel, this was below expectations. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to friends based on my experience.
