What a delight to find this Eco Guest House near Sparta! The large, well appointed en suite bedroom with a sitting area and kitchenette is spotless. The garden adjacent to a lovely sitting area is perfect for enjoying the sumptuous breakfast prepared for guests, all homemade local foods that are delicious! It has been the perfect place to extend the rest and relaxation provided by the wellness retreat organized by “Wild roots Embodied” with Golive Spartan. Top rating!

My 3 sisters and brother arrived on Sept 11 and were greeted by Caroline who was super friendly and kind to us. It was my first time ever to Greece and it was a wonderful way to start. Our rooms were so clean and comfortable. The food was delicious and well presented . Thank you Caroline for making our first day of our journey to be so welcoming and fun

Four of my siblings and I started our family adventure at the Taleton Guesthouse. We were graciously greeted by Carolien and were made to feel like we had arrived home. It's a beautiful setting and we were treated so well. The rooms are perfect and extremely clean. We left for the evening and entered by the back of the guesthouse, and when we returned the setting reminded us of The Sound of Music gated area where the family was hidding. It was magnificent. The breakfast in the morning was an experience as well. Delicious and wonderful variety.

We stayed for a night while driving around Peloponnesus. We didn't really want to stay in Sparta itself, but did want to be near Mystras, and the Taleton country house did not disappoint. Our room was off the courtyard where we enjoyed an amazing breakfast in the peaceful morning. The bed was in a loft above the sitting area (no door separates them. The only downside is that the bathroom is also on the main level, so you need to take care when descending the stairs--especially in the middle of the night! The room was spotlessly clean. Not very many power outlets, but we managed by unplugging the refrigerator. Returning to the breakfast...it was fantastic. A lot of the cooking/baking is done on premises. The variety of honey and jams was overwhelming. And delicious. The little town of Xirokampi is a little farther from Mystras than we would like, but a pleasant drive and worth the extra time.

Friendly staff, the room was awesome. The best choice for couples! The village is a friendly place. It is only 18 minutes to Sparta but you can also drink a coffee or eat in the square (center) of Ksirokampi.

The whole experience was great! The room was very clean, warm and cosy, the personnel very friendly and willing to help, the breakfast excellent, the yard was so relaxing! And so many surprises in the surroundings. We stayed for just two days but they were not enough. Definitely we are going back some time in the near future. We strongly recommend it to everyone. It is how all hotels should be! And at such reasonable prices.

We stayed here for a week, encouraged by the positive reviews on Tripadvisor, and we were delighted with the whole experience. The hotel exceeded our expectations. It is a lovely building with well furnished and spacious rooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful and keep the hotel very clean throughout. Breakfast was amazingly good, including hot options that changed daily. We ate most evenings at the Piccadilly taverna close by, where the owner speaks English and is very friendly. We chose the Greek food and enjoyed every meal here. We visited Monemvassia but mostly our time was spent walking in the Taygetos range, on well-signposted paths. Lovely scenery and wild flowers.

Very welcoming and relaxing atmosphere and most friendly staff. Located in front of the church, the hotel is just a few minutes from the lively central square with surrounding restaurants. We had a nice and cozy and fully equiped studio in the patio of the hotel, for three nights. Good breakfast buffet. Xirocambi is very well located for hiking in the Taygetos mountains and also for visits in the whole Sparta area (e.g. Mystras). Taleteon Inn is highly recommended for many good reasons!

We had a very pleasant stay at hotel Taleton. Taleton is a very nice place to visit Laconia. Mystras, Sparta, Geraki and Areopoli are nearby and Monemvasia is also within reach. When my wife fell ill, Elias and Nano did everything they could to help us and make life as agreable as possible for us. In short, a place we can fully recommend

Ci sono stato con mia moglie e miei due figli, penultimo pernottamento delle nostre vacanze itineranti in Grecia. Paesino piccolo, ma vivo. L'Hotel si presenta bene subito all'arrivo. Chi ci ha accolto ci ha messo subito a nostro agio. Le costruzione o ristrutturazione è recente. Abbiamo preso due doppie, gemelle come arredamento e disposizione. Graziose, pulite ed accoglienti. Bagno ampio. I letti si trovano sul piano rialzato. Molto comodi, all'interno della stanza c'era un delicatissimo profumo di lavanda (sotto ai cuscini c'è una busta che ne contiene)...bellissimo addormentarsi. C'è un bellissimo cortile interno, una fontana ed un sacco di vegetazione. Sulle pareti del cortile ci sono le porte delle stanze. Davvero memorabile. Se siete in zona fermatevi qui a dormire.

Eind van de middag in het hotel aangekomen. Leuke ontvangst met een welkomstdrankje. Lijkt niet op een hotel want is een oud gebouw wat vroeger diende als olijfolie-opslagplaats. Het gebouw is prachtig gerenoveerd en de put onder het gebouw waar de olijfolie inging is nog bewaard met een glasplaat bovenop (vlakbij de receptie). Mooie grote kamer, licht met alle voorzieningen, heerlijk bed en douche. Er was wel een zwembad maar daar werd aan gewerkt. De temperaturen waren er wel naar om van het zwembad gebruik te maken. Waarschijnlijk is alles gereed en beschikbaar in het hoogseizoen. S'morgens een super ontbijt (buffet) met alles erop en eraan. Het personeel is allemaal even aardig. Het hotel ligt in Xirokambi een klein (niet toeristisch) plaatsje in de buurt van Sparti en Mystras. Het plaatsje heeft ondanks het lage aantal inwoners een heel leuk plein vlakbij het hotel met allemaal restaurantjes eromheen. Aanrader is Picadilly to Petrino, heerlijk eten met leuke bediening en sfeer voor een goedkope prijs. In de buurt kun je wandelen en is een hele oude stenen brug te bekijken. Wij vonden vooral de ligging ten opzichte van Mystras geweldig. S'avonds heerlijk rustig in Xirokambi relaxen, drinken en eten. We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad.

Hotel assolutamente da consigliare! Stanze pulitissime, accessori bagno (persino le ciabatte da mettere dopo la doccia), silenziose e colazione eccellente con ampia scelta. I biscotti e le marmellate (compresa una crema al cioccolato) sono rigorosamente fatti in casa! Ottimo lo yogurt greco. Il personale è gentilissimo, cogliamo l'occasione per salutare Vasiliki (mi sembra proprio questo il nome) e l'altra collega. La località è lontana dal caos e dagli aspetti negativi delle cittadine più grandi. La gente del posto gentilissima e ci sono molti localini dove cenare (consigliamo Picadilly To Petrino). Da non perdere il più antico ponte ad arco in pietra d’Europa.

Το Taleton είναι πραγματικό κόσμημα, και αποτέλεσε αποκάλυψη για εμάς.Ειλικρινά συγχαρητήρια και εύγε αξίζουν στο προσωπικό και στη διοίκηση του. Βρεθήκαμε στο Ξηροκάμπι σε οικογενειακές διακοπές τον Ιούλιο και διανυκτερεύσαμε εκεί τρία βράδυα. Είμαι εμπορικός αντιπρόσωπος εδώ και 15 χρόνια και επισκέπτομαι ξενοδοχεία σε όλη την Ελλάδα. Κατατάσσω αναμφισβήτητα το Taleton στα αξεπέραστα για την άριστη και πολύ φιλική εξυπηρέτηση τόσο από το προσωπικό όσο και από τη διοίκηση, το καταπληκτικό και πολύ καλόγουστα δομημένο περιβάλλον του, κοινόχρηστούς χώρους και δωμάτια, την αφοσίωση στην ποιότητα σε όλα τα πεδία έπιπλα, κρεβάτια, στρώματα, μαξιλάρια, μπάνιο, πετσέτες, την οικολογική συνείδηση, την μοναδική σχέση ποιότητας τιμής και το απίστευτα σπιτικά φτιαγμένο με φρεσκοστιμμένο φυσικό χυμό πρωϊνό του. Επιπλέον, το Ξηροκάμπι είναι ένα χωριό μεσαιωνικό που στρατηγικά είναι πολύ καλό ορμητήριο για όποιον θέλει να δει την Λακωνία και τη Μεσσηνία. Μοναδική η ελαιοδεξαμενή του ξενοδοχείου.

Sosta di ritorno da Mystras per una sola notte, tutto molto curato e funzionale, una camera deliziosa strutturata su due livelli. Colazione ottima in un bel cortile profumato da un gelsomino in fiore. Consigliato. Morena.
