Yuanshe Muyun Ge Homestay (Phoenix Ancient City Nanhua Li Tourist Center Branch)

This B&B may not be a luxury hotel, but the owner goes above and beyond to make it feel like a 5-star stay—complete with full in-room amenities (minus the swimming pool and breakfast). If you’re traveling with large luggage and don’t want the hassle of dragging your bags up and down uneven streets, this place is ideal. It’s just 50 meters from the town’s car park via a flat, easy road—super convenient! While breakfast isn’t provided, there’s a great restaurant right next door that serves everything from breakfast to dinner, so meals are never a problem. The location is excellent—only about 100 meters from the riverside, right in the heart of Phoenix Ancient Town. True, there’s no river view from the room, but honestly, why pay extra when you’ll be out enjoying the riverside most of the day anyway? It’s just a 1-minute walk! The owner was incredibly helpful—he met us at the car park when our e-hailing ride dropped us off, and he also arranged our return ride to the high-speed rail station at a very reasonable price. Clean, tidy, modern, and convenient. Highly recommended!

Our stay here was the best experience we had in China. The host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the location is perfectly situated to explore all the main sights. Truly a 10 out of 10.

Owner helped to lead us from taxi drop off to accomodation. He also helped booked taxi back to train station.

The hotel is very well located in the center of the old city, very close to the river, but extremely quiet to rest. It is also about 600 meters from the bus station arriving from the train station. The hotel is small but very welcoming. On the other hand, the room is very nice, modern, clean, and with plenty of space. Without a doubt, for price and quality, the hotel is a 10; I would stay again.

Clean, comfortable and quiet room in the middle of the ancient town. The owners have a great hospitality and offer a great laundry service. We enjoyed our short stay and would visit again.
