Sulu Nanshe River View Homestay

Location: The hotel is very close to the entrance of the ancient city, which is convenient. Facilities: The entire room is equipped with Xiaodu smart voice control, which is also very convenient. Environment: We arrived early in the morning and wanted to rest at noon, but the upstairs and next-door neighbors were under renovation until the afternoon. We can't really blame the business for that, but we definitely didn't get a good rest. Otherwise, there's nothing to complain about. The view from the viewing balcony deserves special praise. The night view of the ancient city was completely panoramic, making the trip worthwhile even without going out for a stroll.

The location is good, and the environment is good, but the hygiene and toilet drainage are a bit lacking.

The room was very spacious and bright, and it was also very close to Nanhua Gate. The view at night was absolutely stunning!

The guesthouse is right next to the Snow Bridge (the Rainbow Bridge is under renovation, so the view is better from there). The scenery is superb, and you can watch the night view and Cui Cui's performance from your room (it's a bit far)! It's not far to walk up to Nanhua Bridge where you can wait for the ancient city to light up (now it's 6:30 pm every day), and that moment is beautiful!

The river view is fantastic, and it's very close to Xueqiao Bridge and Nanhua Bridge. The lighting is warm and inviting, but the restrooms are small and the drainage isn't very efficient.

The guesthouse is located right next to the Snow Bridge and is quite new. However, some guesthouses in the scenic area don't allow cars in, so you have to carry your luggage to the hotel. The ground in the scenic area is paved with stone slabs, which tests the sturdiness of your suitcase wheels. The room was quite clean, but there was no shuttle service to the station, which was a bit of a drawback. Ride-hailing services are scarce in Fenghuang Ancient Town, and there's no Didi Chuxing (a ride-hailing app), so a hotel offering shuttle service would be much more cost-effective. The room I booked was on the second floor, and you could see the view from the balcony, but there were two large willow trees at the entrance that slightly obstructed the view. Because it's in the central scenic area, people who like to go to bed early might find it a bit noisy, but everything stops after 11:30 pm, so it doesn't bother you. There's a travel photography shop downstairs from the guesthouse, and this one was quite good. The photographer was patient, and the photos turned out well.
