Found a hidden gem in Fes Old Town 🔥 Ctrip's 5.0 rating was spot on, no regrets! The traditional Riad courtyard exudes such a wonderful ambiance. The breakfast was surprisingly delicious – enjoying it leisurely in the vintage carved courtyard just boosted my energy levels to the max! Saying goodbye to the ancient city, now off to the Sahara Desert.

The hotel is conveniently located within the ancient city of Fes. The rooms are clean and comfortable, decorated with distinctive Moroccan style. Laundry service is available. It's a great value for money. My stay was excellent, highly recommended.

Dar D'or Fes - Riad in Fes A charming, traditional Moroccan-style riad. We found the place quite easily; we rang the doorbell and were greeted by a woman. She quickly checked us into a small, air-conditioned room on the second floor. About the room: This class of room was quite small but more than adequate for an overnight stay. The bed linen was clean, the internet good, and the room had everything needed for a comfortable stay (a small safe, hangers, a good shower, hot water, bedside tables, and outlets). In true traditional style, two windows overlooked the riad's inner courtyard, and another window faced the narrow street of the Medina. Overall, the location is very good, with cafes, shops, and fast-food places nearby. If you're coming by taxi, be prepared for very narrow streets, so you might have to walk a short distance. I'd like to specially thank the owner of this place because we asked for a small refrigerator, and they were accommodating and provided one. Also, a big thank you to the staff member named Yousef, who prepared us a good breakfast and politely offered advice and answered our questions. Overall, it's a good place, well-maintained and clean (only the floor in the room was a bit dirty, which I discovered after lifting my foot). Thank you for the coziness; it's a good place.

It was magnificent! This is the best hotel and riad we've stayed at during our 10-day trip through the cities of Morocco. It's incredibly atmospheric and beautiful, yet also comfortable and quiet. The hosts are delightful, offering us tea every time we returned to the riad – so attentive and friendly. The breakfast was very hearty, delicious, and substantial. When we asked for a lunch box for our trip, they packed us a parcel that even 5-star hotels haven't matched; we ate it all the way to Merzouga, it was such a pleasant surprise! I recommend it 200%!

The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home, not just like we were staying at a hotel. He told us to approach him for anything we needed. Before check-in, he prepared a pot of traditional Moroccan mint tea for us to enjoy before heading to our room. After a three-day journey, we were exhausted, so we asked him to recommend a nearby spa and massage. We tried the Moroccan scrub and it was incredibly relaxing! He also helped us arrange a taxi to the airport for the next day. The breakfast was delicious 😋, and the homemade yogurt at the riad was exceptionally good 👍. The room was spacious and the bed super comfortable. But the absolute highlight is the stunning rooftop terrace with a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view of Fes. The cats nearby are also adorable and love to be petted! If you're coming to Fes, you absolutely must check out this riad. It offers fantastic value for money!

The hotel's location is excellent, just a short distance from the Blue Gate. The rooms are clean and tidy. But those are secondary; what truly stands out is the owner, who is incredibly kind and has high emotional intelligence. They always greet guests with a smile. I hadn't eaten breakfast, and when it came to settling the bill, they waived the final tax, saying it was because I missed breakfast. All guests receive tea and snacks upon arrival. Overall, it's a great guesthouse.

We stayed four nights in Fes and experienced three different Riads. This was our absolute favorite and the most satisfying. The owner is a true gentleman, providing professional, attentive, and thorough service. We felt treated like guests in a high-end hotel, not like we were intruding into someone's home. This Riad isn't the largest, but it's the cleanest; everything was spotless, the bedding wasn't damp, and it felt ancient yet not outdated. You could tell the owner put a lot of care into every detail. Plus, the breakfast was delicious! The croissants and small pancakes were just incredible. I originally planned to try a different Riad every day, but because the experience here was so great, I booked an extra night. The price was also the best! The other two Riads I booked were only a 3-5 minute walk away and both more expensive, yet their service, cleanliness, and hospitality weren't as good as this one. Highly recommend!

Great location, just a five-minute walk to the Blue Gate, and all the main attractions are easily accessible on foot. The train station is a 45-minute walk or a 15-minute taxi ride away. There are also plenty of cafes nearby. The staff are welcoming, and the interior has a charming old-world style. There's a rooftop terrace with sofas and city views. The bed is comfortable, and the linens and towels are clean and fresh. The only toiletries provided are shower gel. The shower space is a bit small, but otherwise, the room is comfortable. It's worth noting that in the room on the second floor, you have to go up a small set of stairs to reach the toilet, which is quite unique and adds to the atmosphere. The city tax is payable in cash.
