Reviews of Riad Fes Maya Suite & Spa

My flight was cancelled due to weather conditions beyond my control (I provided all the evidence)! The hotel refused to reschedule the dates of my stay for a couple of days (even though there were vacancies), and they also refused to refund my money. They did not respond to email or WhatsApp, although I wrote to them several times two days or less before the booking.

The Riad is beautiful; it's a pleasant surprise from the moment you walk in. The owner is a lovely young lady who is very nice and welcoming. I loved it! 😘 I came back to rest in the afternoon because it was too sunny, and even though my room wasn't fully cleaned yet, she prioritized it and even offered me mint tea. It was so relaxing! ❤️ The room is large and clean, long and narrow, and the drainage is perfect. Breakfast is served on the rooftop with a panoramic view of Fes' Old Town—a fantastic view! Go early to avoid the sun. The Riad is located on the outskirts of the Old Town, at the entrance of an alleyway on the main road. Follow the map; you'll see signs on the wall, so it's easy to find. Don't worry about getting lost in the Medina. Remember to ring the bell at the door—knocking might not be heard!

Overall, it was alright. The breakfast area had a nice view. There was a slight odor on the second floor of the suite. The bathroom didn't have a curtain, so water leaked out easily. The landlady was very welcoming. We didn't have time for breakfast that morning, so she brought it into our room and gave us plenty of bottled water.
