Fihalhohi Maldives

Fihalhohi
This is an amazing privately owned island, which is a gem of a find. If you want calmness, relaxation and great service, then this is the place to go. This is our second visit and would happily come back again. The island has lovey, clean rooms and does not have crazy numbers of people, so at meal times, the beaches are deserted. The island offers some great snorkel trips but i would advise you to be strong swimmers (the sea can be rough and many of the trips are in very deep water, as you jump into the sea from a boat). The views around the island are breathtaking and the food is awesome (they also cater for vegan/lactose intolerance and gluten intolerance) vegetarian food was a little sp****, but we ate vegan at lot of the time, which we still lovely but can get a little boring due to limited options, especially when you see all the other delights on offer, but are not vegetarian (including cakes etc) The service was outstanding, the staff could not do any more for us. There was a wide range of visitors from all sorts of countries (a large proportion of German/Russian people) the library was more geared towards German, which suggests the larger number of visitors were probably from there. We stuck to our Amazon Kindles, so didn’t need the library anyway. There were also options to hire boats, jet skis and snorkels if you needed them, plus the possibility of gaining a full PADI diving license for anyone who wanted to do it (all had extra costs). There was a little shop on the island, but it is expensive for essentials (such as snorkels or suntan lotion) because it all has to be imported in, which is understandable. Therefore, make sure you take whatever items you need with you. If you want to experience the Maldives without the commercial craziness or the major corporation chain aspect, this is a great island to visit.

The hotel is not far from Male’, and the speedboat is about 40 minutes. We have four big four packs of speedboats to the hotel, a speedboat of $200, and a good speedboat. Go to the hotel terminal and think that the staff members are moving our luggage, we will leave, who knows not. Then we went back to carry the luggage to the lobby, and others said that someone would help me move. The staff then took the cart and moved to the lobby. Checking in is a bit of a hassle, and I have to fill out the form one by one. Someone can speak Chinese and it is quite good to communicate. The room is very big. I know that we have two beds and two rooms. We have already added a bed. It is 25 dollars per child, including bed and three meals a day. Counting Christmas, we have more than 1300 extra beds for three meals a night. It's quite cost-effective. The three meals are still rich, can eat, and there are three or four kinds of fruits. They are passion fruit, cantaloupe, red pomegranate, guava, etc. Anyway, I think it is better than I imagined. After all, the Maldives needs to be sent outside. In the afternoon, the bar arrived at pizza and burgers, etc., and waited for more than an hour. I found that cooking in the Maldives was not slow. I didn’t dare to eat there. It was convenient to have three meals a day, but there was no water. Water needs to be paid separately, which is much more expensive than domestic ones. Later, when we were eating, we took the water we sent every day to the restaurant for dinner. I am still very satisfied with the restaurant. The room is large but quite old, but the price is not expensive, and it is not required to be so much. We have more than forty room numbers, which are far away, and far from the beach. I don’t know if our room is cheaper. Relatively far. The bed in the room is still relatively large, 1.5 meters in two, and the extra bed is about 1.2. There is a balcony with a shelf to dry clothes. The balcony is a beach, but the swimming here is not good, so in addition to drying clothes. Did not go out, a little afraid, but also afraid that small animals come in from the glass door, you must bring your own slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, beach towels can be used. Going to the seaside swing there are a lot of corals and fish, but remember to wear jellyfish shoes. When someone just went to the water, they were blown by corals. They need to be sent to the hospital in Mafu Island, and then they went to the hospital by chartered boat. The boat fee is 50 dollars. . There is a hotel staff to take with you. So jellyfish shoes are very important. A lot of fish out on the swing position is black, but the nose is thorny, the child goes to catch it, then go to school and go to the lobby to dress up. The swing position is a lagoon, where there are a lot of fish, and then the fish in the swing is smaller. If you dive, you will have a lot of fish, white and transparent. We have been playing with the fish for a long time on the swing. I am very happy, and there are small sharks here and there are Hawaiian fish, which is a long-named Hawaiian local fish, but it is also here. But close to the lagoon, we had a black oversized sea otter at the foot of the snorkeling, scared us to death, and then dared not go out. On other beaches, there are also sea snakes and squids that are white with dots. At night, there are bats, small sharks, sea urchins, and other fish that cannot be named at the end of the pier. At night, we will finish the meal and enjoy the fish at the pier. Dinner is starting at 7:30, a bit late. In general, this hotel is still very worthwhile, after all, the price is not expensive, then the sea is very short, to the child's knee and thigh position, many corals and many fish, the beach is also good, many beach chairs, we are sleeping, other time is Playing at the beach, very happy, children are more happy. If you did not participate in the offshore project, you would go to the resident island to participate again. It’s enough to stay in Biar, just staying at the beach for two nights. After all, we have been playing for two days. The first day is dinner, and the last day includes breakfast lunch. Child ten years old
