Residenza Ognissanti

After a bit of confusion with the keys due to the hotel being “unmanned” we found our way into the Residenza Ognissanti guest house. Beautifully furnished and clean. We were staying in a double room with a private external bathroom. The room itself was spacious with a comfy bed, AC, opening windows, curtains, wardrobe, Tv & a kettle. There’s a coffee machine located in the communal area in the guest house that you can use with the 2 coffee pods you get per day during the room clean. Rooms are cleaned on the daily and the staff are extremely friendly. The private bathroom was a large bathroom with a good shower, nice sink and big mirror, all very clean. Overall our stay was great, hotel was clean, comfy & convenient. Only suggestion would be to have a safe in the room. I believe some have safes but Room #4 did not. Would definitely stay again.

I really liked Residenza Ognissanti. The room was always clean. Everyone with whom I've talked to from the staff was kind, polite and very nice to me. I stayed for weeks and I've felt very comfortable. The location is great, truly central: a ten-minute walk to the city's most iconic museums. I highly recommend Residenza Ognissanti to everyone who wants to travel to Florence.

Hotel rooms is not that bad and within a 20min walk to the highlights of the city. The problem is that we paid twice for our room because we trusted the hotel stuff. We agreed on cash payment in advance. Because nobody was at the reception during checkout the hotel manager advised us over phone to leave the money with the keys at the hotel room. Two days later they also charged my credit card so we had to pay twice for the room. We tried to contact the hotel manager but they did not help us to get our money back. So I am very disappointed and can not recommend to anybody to stay at this hotel and its dishonest staff.

I highly recommend this place. It is modest like price, but is cozy and have everything for travelers - good bed, convenient bath with facilities, small terasse in green back yard. And most important nice owners. Everything is close - river Arno, central market, duomo, Uffici gallery... And if you are with car. Around the corner underground parking for 20 Euro.
