The room is very unhygienic. The toilet smells very bad. Toothbrushes, slippers and shower gel are not provided. They are not provided even if asked. The sound of people going to the toilet upstairs can be heard clearly. I have never stayed in such a bad hotel. I don't know where the three stars come from.

Friendly, comfortable hotel. The most perfect spot for all the main sites - walking distance of most attractions and not expensive.

The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect, right next to the Duomo and within short walking distance to everywhere in the city. The property has lovely historic charm and the character of an old building, but because of this, you should not expect a luxurious or large room. The breakfast is a basic Italian breakfast, the front desk is open 24/7, and the staff is friendly. It is an ideal base for sightseeing if you prioritize location and atmosphere over modern luxury.

Would never go there again. when we got there a notice said the lift was not working, it had obviously been there for several days, Reception was up several flights of steep stairs, yes there was a button to press to get porter assistance but when you have a weak knew and an issue with stairs that is not a great help. I dont understand why the hotel didnt inform us in advance so we could have easily booked somewhere else. We asked for our money back so we could go elsewhere, they said they would find us a room in a linked hotel. In the end they took us to a top floor apartment... lift there was working... but only skylights so no view. We had booked Lanzi as it boasted rooms with good views. We didnt want an apartment, we wanted to be able to use hotel facilities, have breakfast there, use the bar, talk to other residents, if we had wanted an apartment we would have booked one... at this stage we had little choice but to accept. We had paid for breakfast, we were told we could use Lanzi... but steps !!!! or another linked hotel with far less steps. We could contact Reception from Apartment internal phone but signal was so poor I could hardly hear what they were saying. We asked day before if they could book a taxi to airport, they said could only do morning we were leaving, which we did only to find out that meant the taxi would come in a few minutes so we had to rush down. The picture of Reception does not give a picture of what the rest of the hotel was like. To be fair porterage was good

We arrived at the hotel with 4 medium sized luggage. The elevator was out of order. We were told it would be fixed the day of our arrival. It was still broken after 3 nights. Had to carry bags up 2 flights of stairs. The room was extremely small as was the shower. Blow dryer was broken. Bed was quite firm and not that comfortable. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. Our room did have a view of the duomo which was a bonus. I would have expected some compensation for the elevator but none was offered. I would not stay here again.

The only thing worse than the service was the age of the beds.

This hotel is a great location to explore Florence. It is a one minute walk to the Doumo and the surrounding area. The hotel's lobby is located on the second floor and is accessible by a small elevator. There is absolutely no parking almost anywhere. We suggest you take a train or the shuttle from the airport. The staff is very excellent, and very professional. This is our second time staying here this year and we certainty would stay here again, basically because of its location

Our room was spacious enough and located in the heart of Florence, which we really liked. The staff were helpful, and we could reach almost everywhere on foot. However, breakfast could have been better. Considering the price we paid, we expected a higher-quality breakfast. Also, the bed was not comfortable.

A great find in a terrific location in the centre of Florence. The staff were very helpful friendly and attentive and were multilingual. Room was compact but quite adequate and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of cafes, restaurants within a 100 metre radius. Great for a short stay. Only criticism is there was no fridge in the room. Tidy breakfast area on the first level. Would certainly visit again.

Great location, right by the Duomo. Room was noisy and a bit run down, the shower holder was broken and reported but never fixed (I am not surprised however, I have seen exactly these comments within reviews for this Hotel). The room window had a view of the Duomo bell tower which was nice, but unfortunately the curtains were too small and offset from the wall to the point light flooded in very early in the morning. The bed and mattress were poor quality (hard and noisy) as was the room storage that creaked loudly as you tiptoed by...The breakfast was limited but acceptable. The reception area was open all the time which was nice. OK Hotel as a base close to the centre of Florence but don't expect to be pleasantly surprised.

We stayed for two nights. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was very good with a good sized bathroom. In fact super clean and very quiet had everything we needed. Overall breakfast was plentiful and continental and was just want we needed to set us up for the day. If you coming to Florence and need a good location in the centre then you will not go wrong. Plus it's a 10 min walk to the Tram station for the airport at 1.70 euro each way. We would stay again thank you.

Shower leaks all over the floor. Shower very slippers. Bed blankets appear to be dirty. I'd give this hotel 2 stars. It would be nice if there was a room refrigerator. No ice machine to keep cold drinks in cooler. It's not an attractive place to stay.

It was a great experience. The location could not be more perfect. Just a few steps from Santa Maria del fiore. The rooms were clean and comfy. We had a really good sleep. The reception staff were great and always helpful and very pleasant. We are definitely coming back! Thank you!
