Clean and funcional, good place for restaurant and club

We stayed in room palazzo v, second floor as a family of 5. 2 adults 3 children (12,11 & 9). I was very nervous after reading the most recent reviews. However I was happily surprised, the rooms are large and beds are comfortable and clean. We had two bathrooms which was great, they were modern and worked well. We only really spent a couple of hours there in the morning and an hour at night as we were making the most of our time in Florence. You are given a card to redeem for breakfast each day at the cafe next door which includes a pastry,juice, coffee and a 'sandwich'. I can't comment on the sandwich as we chose not to have that but from what I saw it looked like a small cheese toastie. The Americano was fabulous and our children loved the pastries. The only downside was that there was only one ,very large, window so there was minimal light in the apartment. My girls have also said that they could hear the elevator in the night which disturbed them but honestly being in a city noise is to be expected. It does need a little bit of modernisation in the decoration but for me where it matters is the bathrooms and they were great. Lots of mirrors and storage. The check in lady was a little abrupt but it wasn't an awful experience. Overall value for money it was great!

I honestly don't know why there are such mixed reviews for this place. The rooms were huge. After being in a tiny room in Rome, this was a nice change. We had a family of 6 who shared the 3 bedroom suite on the first floor. The rooms are a little beat up as far as needing some touch up paint here and there but everything worked fine. The bathrooms were nicely redone. The breakfast next door was good as we finally had a latte made by person instead of those gross automated machines. If they did some minor cosmetic upgrades to this place, they could charge way more $$. The only issue we had was trying to do our laundry in shared laundry room. The dryers were very slow and 1 did not work at all. We ended up having to walk to a laundromat to bring our wet clothes to so we could make our flight in time. The location was great as we walked to the Duomo and many restaurants. At first I thought the location looked slightly sketch but after being in Naples, this area felt super safe. I'd definitely stay here again based on location and size of the rooms.

I stayed three nights at this hotel and was very happy to have stayed here. The room was HUGE and clean. I was not too sure about the neighborhood, at first glance. But, I had no problems and really enjoyed the location and easy walk to the Duomo and everything in the area. Lots to do, great restaurants everywhere. I recommend the pizza place next door.

We had the presidential suite (Penthouse), The overall Maintenance of the Hotel is a bit under average, the breakfast was eatable but not particular good. The opening times in the reception seemed to be a guideline, and not kept, however it depended a lot on who was on duty. So the suite comes with a well equipped kitchen at the entrance, then you go to the first floor for the bedroom. There were dust on the floor in the bedroom, the sofa is broken and not very comfortable, however the bed was good, so was the bathroom facilities, The windows were not tight so since it was windy and raining we got water through two of the windows. I will not recommend the room during the summertime, the aircon was not maintained, it was functioning (we used it for heating) but extremely noisy it would be impossible to sleep with it on. Now we comes to the best part that makes the room worth every penny, the view, from the room was fantastic. Would I stay there again , yes but only in the autom and spring.

This a good hotel to rent especially traveling with family like us. We were family of five and we had 2 separate bedrooms with a living room, sofa and a kitchen. The place is good for it’s price. The issues I have are the fact the bedsheets are very old worn out and even had holes in them. I’m not sure if the rooms and the property are well taken care of. The free breakfast was a joke. They will give you a single croissant, a coffee and an orange juice. If you consume anything else more than that they will make you pay. Also the free breakfast was not actually inside the hotel property but rather outside a restaurant next door, so that was confusing.
