I have always dreamed of living in a real Italian palazzo and my dream came true. The building is very beautiful, the room has antique furniture and frescoes on the ceiling. Unfortunately, you have to walk 15 minutes to the city centre. There are no restaurants, cafes or shops near the hotel. The windows of my room faced the street so it was noisy at night from cars and motorbikes. I would have liked more vegetables and greens for breakfast.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights and had a truly pleasant experience. The property is a period villa with a unique charm, immersed in a peaceful atmosphere yet just steps from the center of Florence. The staff was welcoming, kind, and always available to offer helpful tips for visiting the city. Our room was spacious, clean, and quiet, with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was plentiful and catered to all tastes. Another plus is the on-site parking, which is very convenient for those arriving by car, although access is a bit narrow. The only small complaint is that some of the details of the property are a bit dated, but overall, the stay was excellent. Highly recommended for those looking for a welcoming, characterful place to stay, away from the tourist chaos yet conveniently close to everything.

When I arrived at the hotel I was informed that I would be transferred to another facility because the boiler was broken. It would have been ideal to know this in advance, since I needed to stay in that specific area of ​​the city for work reasons. I also asked if it was possible to have a transfer service to overcome the inconvenience and was denied.
