Not at all what I was expecting: you literally only get an en-suite room with towels and the most basic toiletries that don’t get replenished during your stay. There’s no breakfast, no reception or housekeeping, which is a problem if you are about to go to bed and realise that the second bed in the room has 2 broken legs!! Of course no one was around to fix it so the first night I ended up having to share a bed with my teenage son after having paid for a quadruple room! - No refund or apology offered. In fact during a heated WhatsApp exchange in which I asked how it was possible for the staff who made the bed not to notice the broken legs, I received the following reply: ‘perhaps the bed wasn’t broken before’ (?!?!?!) The room was also boiling hot (couldn’t work out how to switch the heating off) and the toilet seat in the bathroom was unhinged. The location is super convenient but with that comes a lot of noise both from the street as well as the adjacent rooms. My son had a nose bleed during the 1st night and the staff didn’t even have the courtesy to change the bloody pillow case. If you have a question or need something, you have to WhatsApp Ivan because there is no one around mornings or evenings to assist; sometimes he replies, sometimes he doesn’t. The room wasn’t worth what we paid and looked nothing like the pictures online. What a rip off! 🥲

The best thing about this place is the location. Not easy to get to your room, up two old sets of stairs. Room has been updated nicely but the bathroom and shower needs improvements. Toilet seat lose from day one and not fixed. No place for soap and shampoo in the shower. Can't open the windows, no screens and the mosquitoes came in every night. This is not a B&B as it says on the website. No breakfast and no airport shuttle. The bed was nice.
