Structure with perfect location to reach the historic center, a few minutes from Santa Maria del Fiore and Santa Maria Novella station. The owners were very kind and allowed us to leave our backpacks in the facility after check-out.
The only advice concerns the private bathroom outside the economy double room, it would be better to have a key for the bathroom door too, so as to leave it closed when you are not in the structure.

A lovely place to stay, close to everything in a lovely old building. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The children in particular LOVED the breakfast ( especially the Nutella). Grazie mille! We would love to go back.

Surprised that ******* had a “good” rating for this hotel, which is not justified. I have trust deficit with *******’s rating after my experience at this property.
The property is old and has no lift. Guests have to carry their luggage up two floors, and there was no warning given for this by ******* in its description of the property.
Customer service was very poor. We had breakfast with our booking, but there was no place to sit and eat - hence had no breakfast. Also staff refused to provide hot water requested for tea before breakfast was open to be served.
Uncomfortable and vey small toilet space - again something not highlighted by *******.
I would rate the property as a hostel for students - not a hotel.

Friendly owner, excellent location in the centre, but the bathroom in the room is the size of a shower cabin where inside there is a sink and also a toilet. Environment not suitable for those who are claustrophobic. Very ancient style, so it depends on what comfort you are looking for and what needs you have.

Family-run guesthouse in a super strategic place for visiting Florence. We stayed 3 nights. The owners are lovely people and make you feel at home. The "dreaded" stairs aren't actually that terrible... A normal second floor with no elevator. Perfect cleanliness throughout the entire facility and breakfast ok! Highly recommended for quality/price in a rather expensive place like the center of Florence....

Two-night stay in this guesthouse in the center of Florence, very convenient for those arriving by train and for easily getting around the city. Excellent welcome from the owners, the sore point is the bathroom in the room which is excessively too small for a comfortable stay, otherwise everything was fine.

Located in the very center of the city of Florence. The hotel is located on the second floor of an old building... without elevator! But really perfect for visiting Florence. Warm welcome by a lady and a man the next day (which is not really typical of the people who serve breakfast). Well, the hotel is a little old but everything is really very clean.
