B&B la Marmora 39

Central location, extremely friendly and helpful staff, very very large, clean room. Simply exceptional breakfast, also for the methods: you order what you want the night before and the time you prefer to receive it in your room. Wonderful!

We had a fantastic stay at La Marmora 39. We had a fantastic room: modern, large, bright and extremely clean. Good air conditioning, a good bed and a rain shower with LED lights in the bathroom. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Although check-in was only possible from 3 p.m., we were able to park our car at 8 a.m., freshen up in the bathroom and leave our luggage there. It is possible to have breakfast delivered to your room and eat breakfast either on the bed or on the balcony. A dream! My best hotel experience in recent years. Absolutely recommended!

I spent 2 nights with my wife and son in this bb 10 min. walk from the center. The 2 rooms assigned to us are arranged in a rational way and furnished in a minimal modern way with all comforts. Large and well-arranged bathrooms. Breakfast is served in a common room or alternatively in a room and can be ordered with a convenient app that allows for easy booking once the budget of €15/day per person is used up. Convenient parking in the adjacent courtyard at a cost of €25/day. Friendly and helpful staff. Special mention to Paolo, one of the managers, who in addition to the rare courtesy also accepted small criticisms related to the graphite room with absolute professionalism. Fair price in relation to the context and the Florentine average. In short, everything to recommend

We stayed 2 nights at this B&B. The accommodation is quite well located: in our case, we arrived in Florence by train and from the Florence SMN train station to the accommodation it is about 20 minutes walk (with suitcases). In addition, it is about 10-15 minutes walk from the Florence Cathedral and about 7 minutes walk from the Accademia Gallery (which is where the authentic "Michelangelo's David" is located). From the street where the B&B is located you can see the Florence Cathedral. I was surprised that they "insisted" that we confirm the time of arrival at the accommodation (we said it was approximate) although it is understandable, since the reception is from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (I imagine that if you arrive outside of that time and notify us, there is no problem). The room was quite large, spacious, bright and almost brand new. The bathroom, like the room, was also very large and bright. As for noise at night, neither of the 2 nights did we have any problems: we couldn't hear anything (not other guests, no noise from the street, no cars, etc.). The only drawback, for me, was the breakfast. In our case, we had €49 to spend during our stay on breakfast (included in the price of the accommodation). They send you an email to the email address that you indicate and, from that email, the entire breakfast offer that you have appears: you can choose what you want and combine it however you want, until you reach the limit you have available (in the event that If you want to consume more than the balance you have, you can pay it separately). And you have to leave your breakfast selected before 10:00 p.m. (although it is true that the guy who checked us in told us that they were not very strict with this, as long as you give considerable advance notice). Disadvantage of this method? The price of things. For example, coffees (no matter what type of coffee) are priced at €2.50, a bowl of yogurt with fruit €5.50, French omelette €7. If you are a person who eats variety and a considerable amount for breakfast, you have to adjust your breakfast. Another drawback of breakfast? The time. In my case, I am used to having a time range during which I can have breakfast when I am in this type of accommodation and when I am on vacation. In this case, you have to indicate what time you want to have breakfast ready the day after. The "good" thing about breakfast? You have the option to have it delivered to your room. From my point of view, it is not a bad option if you don't know where to stay in Florence. Although my stay was good and very quiet, I would not stay at this B&B again.
