We stayed one night here, the guesthouse is a couple of kilometers outside of Fludir but I guess if you are in the area you'll have a hire car anyway. Our room was in an adjacent building to the main guesthouse. The room was very cramped and apart from beds and a table there was nothing else in the room. I noticed mold on the blinds on the window and also on the ceiling in the bathroom downstairs. There is only one bathroom in the building shared by the three rooms. There are good kitchen facilities for those wanting to cook their own food.

The guesthouse was a highlight of our stopover in Iceland. Great space and facilities with the most amazing host. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay there again some day. A perfect stop for an extended trip on the Golden Circle!

Cute farmhouse, guesthouse is separate from owners home, full kitchen, equiped with everything even spices (i didn't know this). Grocery store about 6 min away. Bedrooms are in upper level, all have locks, stairs are very steep, not good for older people (scary coming down), 1 bathroom for 9 people located on main level. I probably wouldn't choose this type of stay again but it was very affordable and it was for 1 night. Good location.

I enjoyed my stay here. Peace and quiet with a good kitchen/dining space to make your own meals. The room was a bit small for two but doable one night. It was a bit further out of town than I expected as Google maps for some reason puts it literally in town at a completely different property so be careful to go to the right place!

We stayed here while we were exploring Golden Circle and had the upstairs in the main guesthouse room ourselves. The bed was very comfortable, the house was clean and nicely decorated and the host was super accommodating. She’s a little shy but warmed up to us and we had nice conversations. There’s a kitchen in the other guesthouse where you can prepare your own meals. There’s multiple areas to sit down and relax on the couches or read a book which is a nice change because a lot of the guesthouses we stayed at didn’t have this comfort. We walked around her property and her horses are lovely. Overall, we had such a nice time and would love to come back!
