We just needed to stop overnight while driving south and stay at hotel Cicolella . Rooms are small by American standards but adequate. Very clean, all staff kind and helpful . Pretty standard Italian breakfast.

I stayed at this hotel for one night mainly because it was a short walk to the station and I was traveling by train. It’s an old hotel and has dated features, but that didn’t concern me. Everything worked well, but the bathtub was scary because it was slippery and the shower was part of it. I could see crashing, but it didn’t happen. I would have killed for a glass of wine after six hours on the train, but the hotel’s restaurant and bar are closed on Saturday and Sunday. So it goes, breakfast was adequate in an old fashioned setting, drapes at the windows. There were hard boiled eggs, Cornetti, all sorts of breads, cakes. I made a little sandwich of wonderful bread, cheese and salami,for my lunch on the next train. The room was quiet. A good stay.

Room was big. Shower was terrible only half the glass and a missing rubber seal so water went everywhere. Smelled strong like perfume.

O Hotel é bem velho, tudo cheira mofo, a limpeza foi ruim, achamos tampa de shampoo no box! No quarto que estavamos o ar condicionado nao funcionava e nos trocaram de quarto! Segundo os funcionarios, no sabado nao tem pessoas para consertar, ou seja se tem funcionarios da manutencao, eles nao trabalham! A cama tem o cochao concavo, por muito uso! Os funcionarios sao simpaticos e atenciosos! As ruas nos arredores, nao parecem ser seguras!

Albergo un po’vecchietto. Ha un bel po’ di anni e li dimostra. Sarebbe da tre pallini, ma ne aggiungo uno per la gentilezza del personale e, soprattutto, perché accettano i cani. Noi abbiamo un piccolo cane. Contrariamente a quasi tutti gli alberghi, è stato accettato, senza sovrapprezzo.

Ho soggiornato per 2 notti presso questo albergo per un viaggio di lavoro. Come scritto da altre recensioni, la struttura appare datata sia per le parti comuni che per le camere. La pulizia è comunque buona. Le sale comuni sono molto fredde da non riuscire a starci, mentre nella camera ho trovar molto caldo. Personale gentile e disponibile.

Quando all'entrata si legge la data del 1924 sull'insegna, posta lì in maniera chiara, probabilmente non si immagina che stia a rappresentare non solo la data in cui l'albergo è stato costruito, ma anche l'ultima in cui ha visto una ristrutturazione. C'ero stato con mio padre nel 1994, credo, e l'ho trovato immutato. E' così vecchio che i pezzi di modernariato stanno per diventare antiquariato, come ad esempio i comodini con integrata la radio a manovelle del 1970. Il bagno della mia stanza (la 207) era così piccolo e angusto che era impossibile chinarsi per lavarsi i denti o la faccia, essendo il muto troppo vicino al lavabo, e così il wc era talmente vicino al bidet da richiedere contorsioni per espletare le funzioni biologiche che non sto qui a descrivere per opportunità. Particolarmente avara anche la dotazione di prodotti da bagno: un solo flacone bagno/doccia ed un unico sapone per lavabo e bidet, tanto che per fare una seconda doccia dopo la corsetta mattutina ho dovuto chiedere giù in reception dell'altro docciaschiuma. Due note positive: il personale garbato e disponibile, e la colazione davvero buona e ricca. Quattro stelle assai impolverate, è tutto da rivedere.
