We had our wedding here from 30th June - 1st July. We booked the venue more than 2.5 years in advance and worked with Antonella throughout the entire process. She was amazing to work with and highly recommend having a wedding at the borgo! We rented out the entire property exclusively for ourselves & guests for the weekend. The grounds are so beautiful with views from the entire borgo. The rooms are also very nice with a rustic Tuscan feel. Antonella and the entire Borgo staff worked with us to make our wedding weekend perfect. Last minute, we had to change the dinner location due to rain, and the staff was quick to rearrange all of the tables to inside. I had guests coming up to me saying this was the best wedding they had ever been to. We will be returning to the Borgo for our anniversary!

We loved staying at Borgo Il Melone - the grounds are lovely, lots of gardens, courtyards and interesting buildings to explore. We were there in early May for three days - wisteria on the arbors in full bloom and early spring flowers abound The pool was not open yet and grounds maintenance (mowing, pruning, etc) just starting but this did not hinder our enjoyment. Our room was clean and comfortable, quiet and peaceful with a view from every window. The staff was amazing - so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations from nearby restaurants to exploring the region. The restaurant on site is excellent and so convenient we ate two of our three dinners there. The location is perfect for exploring the area if you have a car. We found easy (paid parking) just outside Cortona (few minutes away,)-to explore the town by foot a and loved the convenience of accessing roads to Chianti, Florence, Arrezzo, etc without the traffic issues of staying in town. Highly recommended for all types of travelers.

My boyfriend and I visited this hotel for our first night in Italy, and we could not have asked for a better way to start the trip. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the room was very comfortable, and the food was incredible. It was a short drive to Montepulciano and Pienza so we were able to explore the two towns without expending too much energy. The area was relatively quiet, so we were not disturbed by loud noises. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Tuscany! It’s perfectly enjoyable for individuals, couples, families, or a group of friends.

I would love to stay here again! The setting was absolutely beautiful and I took lovely morning strolls. The staff was so gracious and helpful in every way. We needed transportation ideas and help multiple times and they were on top of it. The restaurant service is perfect and the food is delicious. It was an ideal stay.

Just a perfect visit! We arrived in the afternoon after driving from FCO. Word of warning, if driving, directions are sketchy. Better off taking the train and having the resort arrange a taxi (as our smarter new-found friends did). From the first people we meet - Ms. Sarah, Ms. Jessica, Ms. Santa, and Ms. Anna Maria - there nothing but kindness and honest hospitality. We were shown the layout, kitchen on on end and rooms and restaurant at the other. Cooking classes started at 10:00, ended around 14:00. So, where to start. The buildings, rooms, dining area, grounds, all beautiful. The pool was immaculate, and perfect for the hot afternoons. The spa was marvelous, ladies were so good, and the couples wine bath was something to experience. The room was very large, separate sitting room, large bathroom with shower. But, its all about the food. The classes were awesome. Hands on, everyone prepares their own portion, and there's so much leftover! Ingredients, recipes, techniques, tools, whatever you want to know, and unbelievable food too. Pici pasta, beef with a black olive crust, ragu, risotto, panna cotta. Too much info to remember, too much food to eat, but just a perfect experience. And the dinners at the restaurant, fantastic. We never left the resort, never had a need to.
