Hilton Garden Inn Folsom

The pool needed cleaned, had dirt and leaves. Maintenance had it closed during the most hot day on the calendar. They should service it after hours, not close it during guest open hours. Rooms were not ready by 4pm, that is not good for being a Hilton Hotel name. No Bar, No restaurant as website so stated. A very bad experience, for me.

Very clean and friendly staff

Arrived in town early for nine day caretaking job that would be 24/seven needed a couple of days to relax and decompress before the stressful job. It was perfect for what I was looking for. I rested. I ate breakfast every morning. Everyone was so friendly it was exactly what I needed before I started a very difficult job. I would stay there again.

It's a good property, a little pricey for the location. Not far from historic area which was nice. Silk restaurant in the same parking lot is excellent!

Pros: The staff was friendly, the room was quiet, the beds were comfortable, the complimentary cucumber orange water was refreshing, and the air conditioning worked great. Cons: The carpet in the room was very stained and appeared “dirty” making me want to keep my shoes on. The laminate floors in the bathroom looked like they had not been cleaned at all as there was hair all over the floor. The skirts on the bedding are old and looked like they hadn’t been washed or upgraded for quite some time. The rooms could definitely use an upgrade.

Music from pool or gym was playing 24x7 Mentioned it to the front desk each day, with no change.
