Fergus Club Carema Splash

Nicely decorated apartment hotel. Great localization and not too hard to find parking really close to reception this time of the year. The apartment itself was very clean and everything was fully functional The only thing to improve - the doors and windows feel a bit old and sometimes windows are hard to close/open

I enjoyed staying here for one week a lot. Only a little negative thing was so many stairs to go to my room. But the rooms were big, newly renovated, clean, private and just nice. All resort was nice. Close to the beautiful beah (a small one and the great large when you walked through the stairs). Maybe the best thing - FOOD! Breakfasts and dinners were just amazing. Amazing choice, amazing taste, coffee, beer many drinks included, favourite parts of the day. And what's more - all Menorca was fantastic!

The hotel was fantastic. Very traditional on the outside,and very modern & contemporary inside. Great swimming pool area and great splash park in the grounds of the complex. Hotel staff all very friendly and helpful. We was self catering. But found some lovely restaurants within walking distance. Will definitely be going back

Overall was great. A nice appartement and kept clean the whole 11 days we stayed. Really nice view from the D appartements. The Splash park and swimming pool were really nice. Our kids loved it. The beach was also at walking distance so we had enough variety. We had semi-inclusive and the food was good. Every day you could choose different kinds of food. A lot of fruit.

We went as a family of 3, self catering to Carema Club resort. My 6 year old extremely excited after viewing the pictures on Jet 2 holidays, especially of the splash park which is within the hotel facilities. This was the main reason we booked. We went in to the splash park on our 2nd day for an hour as it is for children ages up to 12, with 3 small slides and a shallow splash area no swimming for adults here. On our 2nd visit, I was told by the lifeguard that we needed a wristband and I said were staying in the hotel and reception hadn't mentioned a wristband. Turns out, we would need to pay extra to use the splash park which is only for children. My six year really upset he couldn't continue to use splash park. Adults pay 20 euros and children are free but you can't leave them unsupervised so its not free entry, is it? The Jet 2 rep, comment was it is on the website- which is in small print if you look hard and it has no mention of the ridiculous cost. After this happened, I read other reviews saying the same thing so it needs to be a lot clearer I feel I was mis-sold my holiday, as it was my main reason for booking here and if I had booked direct it would of been included. The hotel had a limited menu. We tried to book a breakfast for 2 adults and a six year old at about £50, was extremely expensive and we couldn't pay cash and the card reader wouldn't work, so we ended up leaving. The local supermarkets in this resort are almost twice the price of that are inland. The hotel room was basic and clean but tatty in places (cracks in tiles, hole in wall next to bathroom taps, handle fell off wardrobe, shelf missing from fridge and zip covers broken on settee cushions which was part of the pull out bed). Despite this, the room was cleaned regularly and the cleaning staff were friendly. To stay in the resort, you definitely need a car, just so you are not limited with places to eat and paying over the top in local supermarkets. Menorca is beautiful but I won't be going back. Very expensive for the experience!
