Trip to Millikin University. We were able to check in late - but the room was in bad shape. Everything was old and outdated. The carpet was disgusting and the room had a bad smell (not just musty). Big cracks around the windows and AC unit. We turned on the wall AC unit to try to get some air circulation, but there was a piece of plastic stuck inside the vent that made a terrible noise. Luckily, it was cool and quiet enough outside to open the window. Someone had unplugged the cable box and it took us a while to figure out why the TV wasn't working. There was a HUGE closet, but no hangers. The bathroom was not good. The shower curtain was literally hanging by a loose screw in the wall and the toilet seat was caulked down with some kind of black sealer. The showerhead looked as if it had been there since the 90's. Worst was someone had covered the bathroom fire sprinkler head with a wash cloth. My assumption is that it has a slow drip and this is a "temporary fix." Breakfast was only cold cereal, waffles and biscuits/gravy - the juice dispenser was empty and there was only milk or powdered cream for the coffee. No fruit, toast, yogurt, etc ... The only reason I gave it a 2/5 was that the evening desk clerk was nice and looked to be working hard to keep things going by herself.

We stayed one night, used the pool and had a great nites sleep in a comfy king bed. Excellent friendly service by all the staff, The main entrance, our room and the pool were clean and well maintained. Good breakfast selection. Great value for the price. My wife said it was the best Ramada we've stayed at in years.

Terrible experience. Dirty pool, expired food in vending machines, toliet was plugged, no in-room coffee pot, broken ice machine, refused to give us an extra pillow, one guest was taken away by ambulance, etc. Had booked 3 nights, left after one. Do NOT recommend!

This hotel is older. It was being remodeled during our stay. My kids were extremely interested in the number of boxes that showed up day 2 full of furniture to be assembled. So the price reflects the age of the building more than anything else. We stayed in a room that had been redone. It was vast. Per my kids, "Mom, this room is so big we can do cartwheels in it!" We had 2 queen beds and a pull out sleeper sofa. We slept on the beds but not the sleeper sofa. Personally appreciated the queen sized down blankets on the bed. Other room amenities were standard. The closet was also huge. (This is room 324, should you have a larger party.) The inside pool is warmed. It was super comfy and my kids loved it. For me it was difficult to get in/out of due to access being by ladder instead of steps. The hot tub was sealed off. There was an exercise room which looked decent (we did not utilitze). We did not eat breakfast on site, so I can't speak to that. All of our interactions with staff were pleasant and good. We would stay there again

Not impressed at all, if I'm back in the area, I'll find somewhere else to stay. I'm from the old school and Ramada used to have a good name but this was a disgrace to Ramada. I can not believe Wyndham has this low of quality criteria for either Ramada or whoever manages this place.

The hotel is still shielded up at check at counter with barely an inch to slide your credit card under. (I think covid is over. ) The decor is tacky and ugly with large bouquets of plastic flowers. The check in counter/lobby is not welcoming. I wanted to pay cash, however the gal wanted me to leave an extra $100 for security. I offered her my credit card for security/damages but she said if I was paying cash I had to leave cash. Not sure how that makes sense. If I chose to damage a room, wouldn't the hotel want the opportunity to charge my credit card for damages. How would $100 cash cover potential damage. They were no paper cups in the room to get water to take evening medication, and forget a small coffee pot. Not one of those at all. I've been on the road for 15 days now, traveling across the country, this was absolutely the worst breakfast offered. No decaf coffee, no hot water for hot tea, no eggs, no toast or bagels, no yoghurt.....the offers were waffles, hard dry biscuits with gravy, cold cereal, and walmart instant oatmeal. The rooms themselves were fine, the bed comfortable enough. No clock in the room, but I guess that's fine, we used our phone. It's a privately owned hotel is what I was told. I've stayed in mom and pop owned no brand older hotels that were far superior to this hotel.

Found one bed bug crawling on my pillow before settling in for the night. Switched to the other bed and found a second bed bug in the bedding on the other bed. Squashed both bed bugs and took photo below. Checked out of the motel before spending the night. Trying to get me money refunded.

Hotel has not been taken care looks old and worn, items that should have been noticed and repaired were not repaired. Partially working plugs, nasty white substance on window, wall in shower poorly repaired ,handle on shower not really attached, no working handle inside of toilet completely missing. Alot of little things add up to a not so good experience. Price was good if paid by credit card if cash it was double as a deposit was told . Was to be returned after check out so did'nt test that one. Payed with credit card.Water pressure good room was reasonably clean beds were nice clean linen looked clean recently changed. I always bring my own just in case

This hotel was nasty. Everything felt old and run down, cracks in the walls, hallways and stairs smelled heavily of **** smoke, curtains were dusty, the rooms carpet had suspicious stains, fake dusty flowers all over. The pool had about 2 inches of sum around the rim of the water {fake flowers hanging around the pool also}, the hot tub has been filled in and isn't open anymore. The breakfast was the worst thing....I couldn't even eat it. Staff was nice and the place felt safe enough.
