Great place for a short stay. Just next to a Loch Ness viewing poing. :) There is free street parking as well, very nearby a street away. (1-2min walk) The room was comfortable for 2 pax and instructions for self check-in and check-out were clear. All good. :) Do note there is no lift/elevator hence I suggest having a small bag or luggage that you can carry up a flight of stairs. :)

Self-service check in and check out. Very convenient. Excellent location. Large, clean and tidy room. You can see Loch Ness within 5-10 minutes walk.

The hotel is located in the beautiful town of Fort Augustus. It is similar to a self-service B&B. Our family stayed in two rooms, one of which was equipped with a refrigerator. This way we could buy food in the supermarket downstairs in advance in the evening and set off early the next morning, which was very convenient. , meals can also be booked at the hotel. Walked around town after dinner at a pizza place, beautiful, peaceful. It’s a good place to stay during a trip to the highlands.

The hotel has sent the relevant check-in instructions in advance before check-in. The whole check-in process was very smooth. The room type is very good. The only drawback is that there is some noise from the canal sluice opposite the hotel, but it is basically inaudible after closing the window.  There is a gas station behind the hotel for parking, which is also very convenient, but you have to park across the street, but it is free, suitable for friends who drive by themselves

We loved this room and location! Such a comfortable room, so cute & the location is amazing for looking out at the canal. We loved Fort Augustus and if we ever come back to Scotland, we would stay here again in a heartbeat!
