The hostel is in beautiful grounds with a lovely outside sitting area. There is plenty of off-road parking within a private carpark. The hostel is well maintained offering comfortable sitting areas & has it's own stylish bar which is well stocked. On this occasion I was in an ensuite dormitory with 2 bunk beds. The room was large bright & airy. Each bed was equipped with twin sockets light & usb ports for personal use of the occupant. I had the continental breakfast £6.50 which consisted of help yourself to tea, coffee, toast, yogurt, fruit cereal & Scottish batteries, jams. honey, & peanut butter. There is also a large well equipped self catering kitchen. The hostel is ideally located being less than a 5 minute walk from the centre of Fort Augustus where there are a variety of pubs, restaurants shops & a petrol station. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone & look forward to visiting again in the future.
