Staff was very accomodating for a temporary handicap. DID NOT LIKE no breakfast available as advertised(may have been due to holiday)

The breakfast Bar is a Joke! Yes, there were fresh apples! Then Sugar Pasteries to be microwaved! Tasted like the package they came from! They were very strict about closing the Breakfast Bar at 9! Which was OK, as there was n nothing to put up! However, they even drained the coffee pots, Yes, pouring out any left over coffee!
I asked if they could not leave the coffee, letting the clients and staff drain the remaining coffee!
Also, there was no coffee pot in the room! I mentioned it several times, and finally said forget it!
Only, because of location, I might visit again, taking my own breakfast, with a Starbucks about a block away!

The staff was good. The shower had mold. It’s an old hotel and very outdated. The bed was comfortable. It was a quiet location and convenient. The breakfast was awful: apples, oatmeal, yogurt, coffee and danish. Not acceptable.

The hotel was clean, and the staff was great. However, when we entered our room, the AC had been turned completely off and it was like an oven. I assumed they had just overlooked turning it on, but when I checked out and told the desk clerk, she said it was hotel policy to leave the AC off in all rooms. I told her it only makes sense to turn it on that day when a room is being rented, but she said management would not do that. In a town that hit 107°, this is inhumane and unacceptable. We got in late and we were tired and just wanted to go to bed but it took almost 4 hours to cool the room down. Totally miserable night. Needless to say we will not be back unless they change this ridiculous policy.

The night clerk, named Pat was very friendly, helpful and gave us many suggestions about nearby and excellent dining choices. He was very helpful when asked for another ironing board, due to the fact that the one in our room was going out. We would like for him to be recognized for his going over and beyond. Thanks

The hotel was OK but the lady in charge in the evening time was not very helpful when asking for extra towels.
