Wonderful stay. Walked everywhere. Didn’t use the car. And the N ew River Tour boat dock right across the street.

We had a very good one night stay. We loved the neighborhood and the Riverwalk right outside the door. Our small assigned room was quite warm upon checkin. Maintenance checked it out and called front desk to tell them we needed a new room. The next room was a tad bigger but with working AC. We used the on site transport to the cruise terminal the next day for $12 pp which was about the same as an Uber would have been. There were many many restaurant choices within easy walking distance. We would be happy to stay there again if we return.

This hotel is in a perfect location. The lobby, restaurants, and grounds are impeccable and lend themselves to a memorable vacation. Our room was clean, but had some outdated wood furnishings which have accumulated a musty smell because of the tropical surroundings. I was very happy to see that numerous renovations are scheduled for 2024 as this historic gem has the potential to be an amazing 5 star hotel.

Very clean other than the old clock / phone charger. Well located for access to food, drink, shopping and river area. Would stay here again.

Cleaning staff were extremely inappropriate and unconcerned about guests overhearing their complaints about their jobs. This happened a number of times during our stay. I did receive a partial room credit but the vulgar and loud language we had to listen to even after we complained was unacceptable.

Great location if you don’t have a car as there are a lot of dining options right outside the property. Breakfast at the hotel was good value and an Uber to the cruise port ran at around $12-$15.

Loved our stay. Hotel is close to everything you need, shops, restaurants, Riverwalk, water taxi etc.
Also has 3 restaurants/bars and a piano bar.
I loved the old hotel feel as well.
