The staff is generally very attentive. The restaurant has a great menu and the food was very good. The bar area is a lot of fun and is hopping on Friday nights. My biggest problem with Bowie House is the rooms. There's just nothing terribly remarkable about them. They're cramped. The lighting is poorly organized and conceived. The shower is nice, but the lack of a tub at a luxury hotel/resort is a little disappointing. I appreciate that the staff is attentive and the decor is very well conceived, but I don't see all of that being worthy of the premium that they charge for rooms. This isn't a negative review, but it's a review that says I probably won't absorb the expense to stay here again.
