The best thing about this art hotel is its two king-sized beds, perfect for families traveling with older children. The location is great, right under Story Bridge, and it's very convenient to get around with the City Cat, as the ferry terminal is just a short walk away. Breakfast is a set menu from the downstairs restaurant (which is also open to the public), not a buffet. The portions are quite small, definitely not enough for men, but the food tastes really good. The downsides are the almost non-existent service. The room has a rather punk aesthetic, with large portraits of the designer hanging on the walls, which felt a bit unsettling. The toilet is completely black, and the overall color scheme is quite dark, making it hard to really gauge the cleanliness. Bottled water isn't provided, but you can fill up at the water dispenser on the first floor.

An unusual hotel with a really cool pool. The design of the common areas is debatable. Some rooms offer a nice view of the cliff.

Excellent location and staff. There was a lovely vibe to the hotel and the restaurant had a superb range of breakfasts - definitely would stay there again and recommend it to all our friends and families.

Stunning motel in a fantastic location. The artwork and uniqueness of the rooms were a standout for me and they had everything you could need or want for your stay.. The rooftop pool overlooking the Brisbane River was beautiful to watch the ferries cruise past.

Great hotel, nice view and foods

I booked the hotel through Ctrip, but had to pay again upon arrival. After check-out, Ctrip wouldn't refund the money they charged, and the price on Ctrip was higher than the hotel's. The hotel also overcharged. While the location was good, the decor was mediocre, leaning towards a simple, minimalist style. The room lighting was too dim, and the black toilet was rather unusual. Perhaps the hotel prioritized environmental protection over other aspects, such as the facilities, which felt like they were prioritizing environmental friendliness for the sake of it. For example, the clothes hangers, costing nearly 2000 AUD, were made of paper. The showerhead was also damaged. Overall, it wasn't worth the price, especially considering the extra 50 AUD charge. The hotel staff also didn't seem to care enough about their guests.

If you are a traveler looking for interesting experiences, want to experience the essence of Brisbane's city entertainment life, and come to Brisbane for the first time, this is a hotel with a great location, many dining and shopping options around, and unbeatable river views. Remember to book a river view room!
